Good morning. It’s a nice bright sunny start to our day. We have a few things to accomplish, but it’s going to be mostly a putter around and enjoy summer.

Yesterday, Mark bought two new tires and rims for the golf cart. Today he installed them; then I took the dogs for a ride! ๐Ÿ˜Ž I was amazed at the smooth ride the new tires delivered! Mark said the old tired were full of fix a flat from it’s fishcamp days. Ha ha. It was oozing fix a flat from all the cracks in the tires. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyway, the doggies were very happy to have their first ride on the golf cart since we got home from the RV trip.

After my chores were done I began work on some items for sale on eBay. And, I had a sale! Yippee. Things are moving again.

Mark has gone to his 2 o’clock chiropractor appointment and then for a stop at his favorite shop, the Home Depot. It seems we always need something.

Meanwhile, up north at the lake, Sue and Wayne are picking up the Windsorcraft at Northern Harbor. It seems that repair went pretty quick. Let’s hope all goes well on the ride home. (It did; they had a good ride back and were amazed at the number of cottages along the way now.)

It won’t be long til the mid-term elections! Of course you know how I like to move from one topic to ...

TRUMP. ๐Ÿคฃ

We chatted with Rick M online today. The wildfires are close to them again this season ... and it’s been hot, 104F today. The picture of the new coach house looks nice.

It’s now 830 and we’re sitting on the front porch enjoying the 80° and a breeze. Humidity is quite low so it feels nice. There’s an air of mystique in the neighborhood with a work truck sitting at the end of the street where the new construction is going on. The truck has been sitting there since 10 this morning with the windows open and tools scattered about. So, Mark and I discussed it and called the local sheriff to come check it out. Hopefully no one went swimming in the canal to cool off. (A sheriff car arrived with 2 officers who looked around for 10 Minutes, then left.) As Mark noted, they didn’t check the outhouse!
