Friday, April 30, 2021

Good evening. It’s been another fun day here in Central Florida where the sun always shines. Well, 90% of the time.

We had some eBay business to do this morning and for Mark, two trips to the post office. I discovered that I must use my computer for some of the eBay business as the mobile phone app doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. Who knew. At least this time, I got a helpful person at eBay.

At 2 o’clock we met Markymark and Lani at the bowling alley. Wayne and LaDonna came in a few minutes later, just to watch. Waynoe is still recovering from his February shoulder surgery and LaDonna has a sore elbow. Anyway, it was fun to have them there and we had tons of laughs.

Tweety bird helped me bowl a strike! LaDonna says Waynoe loves to play those games with the claw, and that’s what he won. Don’t turn your back buddy, Tweety might disappear.

After our walk tonight, we settled in to watch some TV and have a quiet Friday night. Bye bye April.

By the way, Robbie is doing much better with the ointment and antibiotic for the hotspot on his mouth.

Cute, eh!!! The first time he’s been able to lay and relax for a while. Yeah, both of them. Ha ha.

Thursday, April 29, 2021

Good morning. We’re sitting at the vets, outside in the car with Robbie, waiting for a visit with Dr. Wilson. Robbie has had a sore on his mouth, opposite side where we had the surgery. We can’t see anything, but he lets us know somethings wrong when Mark washes his face. Hopefully, we will get some answer today.

We had a lot of fun last night at Nancy ‘s, enjoying the lake view and playing three rounds of chasing marbles.

Yesterday, Kris sent us a picture of Beau after his grooming at the villages doggie spa. He looks gorgeous.

This day disappeared in a moment. We were busy with eBay, plus I did a few hours on my large cottage painting. Mark was busy too. He trimmed a few trees, puttered around and cook dinner. After walking the dogs, Markymark and Lani came over and had drinks with us on the front porch. They are ready to list their Calla “1” house, and it should sell quickly.

Wednesday, April 28, 2021

Good afternoon. I was up early doing eBay listings and we had three sales today which took quite a bit of time as one of them needed special help from eBay. And, there isn’t any special help from eBay. Ha ha. Anyway, four packages in all have gone today.

We did a little housework today and Mark gave the dog some haircuts. Poor Robbie is having more trouble with his mouth, and goes to see Dr. Wilson tomorrow. I don’t know what she can do, he won’t even let Mark look at it. One side is fine, the other side he just goes crazy. She may have to sedate him to have a look at it tomorrow.

After their baths, Mark took them for a nice long golf cart ride which they really enjoy. They are going to be home looking after the house tonight while we go to Nancy’s to play a game of chasing marbles.

Sue and Wayne are out tonight meeting a Winnipeg friend for dinner. I think perhaps she used to live in Winnipeg but doesn’t now because otherwise how could they be seeing her when the border is closed?

Mz BeeZee all pretty after her bath.

Tuesday, April 27, 2021

Good morning. I was up extra early and working on a painting. Mark managed to sleep in till after 8 o’clock when I put the dogs on the bed with him. Ha ha. BeeZee works her magic ... she rolls about.

This is Consuela ... she niw resides at our bar area. πŸ˜‚

When I talked to Diane last night she was feeling pretty good, the nerve block was obviously still working. Sue checked in with her this morning and she had a night with a lot of pain as to be expected.

Kris phoned tonight and gave us an update. Diane is doing much better today and her little doggie is following her all around, not letting her out of his sight. The home healthcare nurse was in and helped them sort out the sling and the ice machine and remove the drain from her shoulder. We hope she will have a better night. πŸ₯°

Dawn‘s mom has arrived and they were all having dinner when we checked in with them this evening. They bought her a boatload of lotto scratch off‘s.

Jan is going to have fun!!! We will get over to see her by this weekend.

This afternoon, Markymark brought over a few things to put on eBay to sell for him. It helps us, more people looking at our site even if they buy something that belongs to him. It’s a win-win. Anyway, Mark and I finished up that and then sat on the front porch with a drink for an hour. Life is good. And it feels good to make a little extra money now.

Today would’ve been mom’s birthday. We thought of her today, like we do every day. πŸ₯°

Monday, April 26, 2021

Good morning. Mark is out doing the errands, buying cigars and wine plus a run to the post office while I catch up on the laundry and chores. At 11 o’clock I phoned Kris and found out that Diane is in the recovery room. He will give us call later on when he gets to see her. Good news!

This afternoon, Mark and I went to the Crazy Gator for an early dinner. Wayne and LaDonna joined us having just dropped their granddaughter back home after an overnight stay. We had lots of fun at the restaurant, good food and good service. On the way home, we talked to our neighbor Linda who confirmed Wayne and LaDonna could keep their boat at her place. Then, Pat & Ken invited us all over for a drink. We went home, let the dogs out, had a visit with them and then went to Pat & Ken ‘s.

Sunday, April 25, 2021

Good afternoon. It’s a cloudy day, but the rain has passed over and we are going for a boat ride with the dogs.

It was a beautiful afternoon. We took a ride to downtown Eustis to see what was going on with the bikers in town. Everything was all packed and tidied up with not a soul in sight. I hope they had a good weekend event! The Leesburg bike fest will be held in November this year, due to Covid.

This afternoon we were both busy with eBay and other chores around the house. Tonight, we talked with Diane who is having shoulder replacement surgery tomorrow! Poor Kris ... he will be the one running the show while Diane recovers. The two little dogs are getting along very well now and little Beau is doing fine. He’s put on weight and is abiding by the rules in the house. Of course that meant they had to change some things to suit him. Ha ha. Kris had to re-design the yard as Beau only does his business on concrete! Belle, on the other hand, only goes on the grass. πŸΎπŸ’• Diane says it’s a real πŸŽͺ  πŸ€‘   πŸ˜‚ We wish her luck on surgery tomorrow, and the coming recovery.

We found a place in our neighborhood for LaDonna and Wayno to keep their boat. I talked to our friend and they can call her to make arrangements. I hope it works out. It would be much cleaner for the boat than being out in the open.

We had a few eBay sales today, two of our own, and two for Lynn. It’s nice to finally get a few sales after a year of almost nothing. Everyone has stimulus money to spend. YeeHaw.

That’s it for today.

Saturday, April 24, 2021

Good morning. We’ve got clouds! Hmmm πŸ€” ... rain moving in tonight. Around midnight tonight we are supposed to get some severe weather moving through the area. Hopefully, no tornadoes.

This morning I met Lynn at Nancy’s house and we did an article for the spotlight section of the upcoming newsletter. Boy, Nancy is well-traveled. I’ll post a copy when it’s published.

Mark puttered on his big hot water project. He needed a few things at the store ... but, it’s Saturday and very busy at the shops. So, we’ll wait and get it on Monday. We worked on more listings for eBay from the items we bought yesterday at the Humane Society store.

This is the painting I have just about finished for Karen. Tomorrow, I will be able to varnish it.

Coconut Cottage ...

Friday, April 23, 2021

Good morning. It’s our usual bright sunny beautiful day here in Central Florida. Our plans today are bowling with neighborhood friends. It’s been busy here with eBay, and Mark has been installing a new water heating system. There is a lot involved in that, apparently.

Sue and Wayne have the doggies at Galuppis for breakfast this morning. Shorty Hotpants doesn’t need a baby carriage, he gets his own chair. πŸ˜‚

Oh if the shelter staff could see you now! Ca-ching.

It was nice last night sitting out at Markymark and Lani‘s by their pool. Next month, it gets drained and resurfaced, but it sure looked lovely last night.

Their rat terrier, Henry, is quite a character. He didn’t have any training as a pup, but wants attention. He’s just not quite sure how to get it. πŸΎπŸ’• And, he’s a big shedder!

Thursday, April 22, 2021

Good evening. It’s been a reasonably busy day, but always, lots of fun.

This morning, Mark was up in the attic checking out the electrical things for adding an on-demand water heater. We have lots of power, just need to re-run it a little differently. Me? I’m working on a painting for Karen, and I am getting near the end of it. It’s looking good, I think she will like it.

After a day of bits and pieces, after dinner, we went to Lani and Markymark‘s for a glass of wine and an hour of giggling and laughs. We are going bowling with them tomorrow, and possibly Nancy and Lynn. It’ll be fun. Lots of laughs.

Mark with Henri ... A crazy rat terrier.  πŸ˜š

Wednesday, April 21, 2021

Good afternoon. It just turned 3 o’clock on this beautiful sunny Wednesday afternoon. We had rain early this morning and it turned into just a gorgeous day. Mark and I have been working on eBay again and just finished before lunch. It’s been busy, I guess because everyone has gotten stimulus checks in the US. Well, almost everyone. We haven’t seen one yet.

Randy’s brother Kerrie and his sister-in-law Angie have adopted a rescue pup!
M

Cute πŸ₯°

I began painting at 1o’clock on the painting Karen asked me to do. At 2o’clock, Wayne and LaDonna popped in before going to work on their boat at Markymark‘s. We had a beer before they went to start. No Mark has run out to see a friend for a few minutes and I have a chance to start the blog.

We had planned to go bowling tonight, but no one could make it so it has been postponed to tomorrow afternoon. It’ll be a blast, whenever we get to it.

Mark made ribs on the smoker today for our dinner. Afterwords we watch the news, walked the dogs and sat on the front porch for an hour. The weather is spectacular, nice breeze and cool air. Tomorrow we’re planning a boat ride and lunch.

Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Good evening. It’s nearly 9o’clock and I’m just starting the blog. That must tell you that it has been a busy day around our house. We’ve had more eBay sales, and Mark has gone off to the post office, grocery shopping, and to return an Amazon item then to return some things at Home Depot. Meanwhile, I am still listing eBay items and packaging others for shipping.

Mark had many chores to run this morning while I worked around the house. What a team we are! By the time he got home with a big load of grocery, I was ready to put it away. That’s how we roll. So as you can tell, there wasn’t too much going on today. Randy and Dawn did stop in for a visit for an hour on their way to do other chores. They were the highlights of our day.

Sue and Wayne had dinner at their friend Pat and Derek‘s tonight, us, we had a pizza and just eat the toppings as we are doing South Beach diet. Mark lost 12 pounds and I have lost five.  That’s it for today. Maybe tomorrow will be more normal, whatever that is.

Monday, April 19, 2021

Good evening. Well, all I can say is yesterday got away on us and I was unable to get time to post a blog. We had our friend Nancy come over last night and play the game chasing marbles. She loved it, and we had so much fun. It was raining hard, and every time she went to go home there was another downpour. We ended up playing until midnight. Ha ha Ha. Wine was consumed, stories told and games played. It was a wonderful evening. We are so lucky to live in this neighborhood where we have made great friends.

Randy’s brother and sister-in-law in Winnipeg adopted a dog who needed a home. Kerry said “Our home needed a dog after Buddy passed away a few months ago ... and this pup needed a home.”

Our friend Karen wants to buy two of my cottage paintings. I have one available, so I am doing another one that will go with that one. She needs it by early May. So, today was mostly painting for me.

Paula son Jonathan was in Delray Beach earlier this week with his girlfriend and her son. He was able to meet with Matt, Tiffany and the girls for a visit.
What a great family picture. You can see Jonathan and Matt got the same beard growing genes. Ha ha.

Mark went to Home Depot today for a bit of shopping and picked up color match paint for our kitchen cabinets. Today, a rainy afternoon, he fixed all the scuffs on the cabinets and they look great again.

After supper, we were sitting on the front porch when Markymark came over for a visit. Lani soon arrived and we had a fun visit until just after nine. He wants me to sell a family Bible from 1703, a massive book, on eBay. I see they can go for $1000 and more.

Now, American Idol is on and we’re settled in for the evening. Tata till tomorrow.

Saturday, April 17, 2021

Good afternoon. I started the day by shredding old tax paperwork and then gave it to Mark for his burn pile. He had some yard debris that he was torching  today. We had some rain this morning, but it cleared up by noon ... perfect perfect day for a small bonfire.

We here are friends in Canada are on COVID-19 shut down again and several of the provinces. We are so fortunate here that millions have been vaccinated and we can get out a little bit. We think our governor is a little loose with the reins,, so common sense is needed. I wonder how Sue and Wayne will find it when they are up there this summer.

After doing our housework chores today Wayno dropped over, talking with Mark about what to do with his boat trailer bearings. He is over there working on them now at Markymark‘s house. This evening, they are going to pick up food at Stavros and come over for dinner. I have a little job for him, Ha ha ha, as I have not been able to hook up the Wi-Fi booster I bought. I go through the steps but somehow it’s not found. Whatever, Wayno is a whiz with that stuff.

I finished a tiny painting that was actually just a practice for the big one that I am working on at the moment. Here it is, just because I have no other picture for the blog.

This is a small 8“ x 8“ wrapped canvas. The next painting I am working on is 28 by 36 ... lots of paint to throw around on that one. LOL.

LaDonna and Wayne picked up our orders at Stavros and came over for dinner. He worked on a Wi-Fi booster that I had bought and wasn’t able to hook up. He’s very good with this stuff, but couldn’t get this one working. I’m going to return it to Amazon!  Anyway, after dinner and working on the Wi-Fi booster, we went to the front porch and sat and had drinks and the guys smoke cigars. It was a terrific light show for us, thunderstorms way north. It was a lovely evening. We are so lucky to have such nice friends.

Friday, April 16, 2021

Good afternoon sunshine! It was a busy morning for Mark as he contorted again under the sink. The instant hot is now installed along with a new faucet! Yay!!! Thank you Mark! πŸ₯°

I was up at 6 and began painting on another big canvas! It’s fun to go big! πŸ˜‚ It’s going to be a beachfront cottage with wispy clouds.

The Scotties had a big golf cart ride, plus walks before we met Karen & Pete for dinner. We haven’t seen them for months because of Covid19. (They both work!) With us all being vaccinated ... and mask wearing, we’re feeling pretty safe.

Petey & Karen with us at the Fish Camp. It was busy, and the service not great, but overall it was a good evening. With this pandemic, it’s been hard for the service industry to hire people. It seems no one wants to work. Ha ha. That certainly goes for us too. πŸ˜‚

Thursday, April 15, 2021

Good afternoon y’all. Mark and I were off to Best Buy in Lady Lake for a 10 o’clock pickup! Our Bisque, special order, dishwasher was ready! YeeHaw 🀠 ... we’ve been doing dishes by hand for a month. πŸ˜…

What a job installing it! An under-the-sink electric hot water jobby is going in too! Schweeet.

It’s always fun having BeeZee “help” daddy.

Now Robbie’s getting interested. πŸΎπŸ’•

After dinner and a walk with the kids, we had wine on the front porch. Lynn had the closing on her house today, and we met the new owners when they came over to ask if Mark knew where the switch for the well pump is. (Lynn thought Mark would know.) Well it turns out it wasn’t a problem with the pump, but some sort of electrical issue. Today was the closing, and also Lew’s birthday. The new owner said they’ve owned it precisely four hours and already had a problem. Ha ha ha.  We had a toast to Lew’s memory.

Wednesday April 14, 2021

Good afternoon y’all ... it’s Mz Bee’s 8th birthday πŸŽ‚ and we celebrated with a car ride to SONIC for lunch.

Dad, I want a grilled chicken sandwich with fries 🍟 ... Arrooo

Robbie was excited too ...

Robs clamped onto the steel fork and wouldn’t let it go! πŸ˜‚

Bee takes her food nicely! πŸ₯°

After all the doggy fun this afternoon, Mark and I met Randy and Dawn at the bowling alley after dinner. It’s the first time we bowled in three years. It was fun. We didn’t remember where to stand or what to do. Both Dawn and Mark had very good games. Randy and I eventually did OK, actually, Randy thinks one of them was his best game ever. We sure had a lot of fun. The bowling alley was hopping, very very busy.

We’ll be feeling different muscles tomorrow. LOL. We’re BBBAAACCCCKKK πŸ˜‚

Tuesday, April 13, 2021

Good evening. It’s been another crazy busy day around our home. Yes, there were a few more eBay listings but the excitement this afternoon was having a solar salesman come to the house. It’s quite a technique they use to evaluate the exact solar energy on your home. They may have help for us to take down the two giant trees in front. Currently, they give us shade from the sun, but when you have solar panels, you need the full sun in order to reap the benefits and sell power back to the energy company. Oh my, how things have changed.

Our neighbor Lynn called and asked if we could watch for some folks coming to pick up her dining room table and chairs. They did not sell, so she has donated them to a family in need. Mark help the girls tie down the dining room set that they picked up. They were heading all the way to Palmbay.

We started watching a new series on PBS, Masterpiece, called Crossing the Atlantic. It is great, an edge of the seat adventure from the very start based on a true story about the crown prince of Norway and his family during World War II.

By the way, Mark check today and all the little birdies have flown the coop. A nest is empty. Isn’t it amazing how quickly they grow and go off on their own.

Monday, April 12, 2021

Monday, April 12, 2021

Good morning πŸ˜ƒ ... the sun is peeking out ... things are drenched after yesterday’s deluge. Out the back door I hear the wee birdies demanding breakfast. Poor mama bird, they’re a handful. πŸ˜‚

I was up before 7 and fertilized our indoor plants ... a bucket is ready for the jasmine and trumpets. The backyard looks awful ... tree debris strewn everywhere. I’m sure glad we tied the umbrella down for the Cardinals!

Well it’s now going on 6 o’clock and we’re just getting ready to have pork chops for dinner. We had a salad at 5o’clock, still working the South Beach diet. It’s good, we’re never hungry, and we both lost a few pounds. That’s a win-win. This afternoon we took the dogs for a golf cart ride. It’s 82° and sunny, absolutely gorgeous. A couple of Muskovy ducks have moved into our neighborhood. It’s the first time I’ve seen them around this region. Anyway, they were pretty cute waddling around. We had to stop our dogs from barking at them ... anything unusual to them.

Dick and Jane

Markymark scored a good find today. One of our neighbors put a big smoker on the curb and he picked it up.

Score! There’s a big BBQ about to happen! πŸ˜‹

LaDonna and Wayno have gone RVing, without us. We just had too much going on ... and have to buy (and install) the dishwasher on Thursday.

Beautiful Hart Springs ... good fishing says Wayno.

Sunday, April 11, 2020

Good afternoon. It’s a day of liquid sunshine here in Florida. Ha ha. Mark and I have been very busy listing Lynn’s eBay items for her. This is day three of the project. I was hoping we would get it completed today, but maybe there will be a little to do tomorrow. (We have three bids on Lynn’s listings tonight. They were up for a whole week, so we’ll see what happens.

Our little nest of Cardinals now has feathers. They sure grow in a hurry! Mama is doing a great job!

One wee Cardinal ... they all survived last night’s storms.

Sue and Wayne had some big storms roll into the Keys this afternoon.

They were rocking. πŸ˜‚

Saturday, April 10, 2021

Saturday, April 10, 2021

Good morning. I was up with the birds at 5 o’clock and took the Scotties outside. It was lovely and breezy, a pretty day coming up. Rain is forecast for tonight or tomorrow, but it is another perfect day for those having extended garage sales in our neighborhood. Mark and I sold out yesterday, in some cases practically giving things away, but once it’s out of the house I don’t like to bring it back in. Ha ha. We made 130 some dollars, pretty good considering we didn’t have a lot of items.

Markymark and Lani are emptying their original house that will be put up for sale shortly. Waterfront property on the Harris chain of lakes is tough to find and sells fast. Theirs is a three bedroom two bath two car garage with the dock and boatlift. I’m sure they won’t have any problems getting that sold quickly.

eBay sales have suddenly picked up. I sold three items in two days. I hope it continues as I have quite a few things on listing. Anyway, Mark has taken the parcels to the post office for scanning and then doing a little grocery shopping. We are trying the South Beach diet and it involves going every four days for salad items.  It’s working, very slowly, but what the heck ... we’re not going anywhere anytime soon. our next RV trip isn’t until mid May, then another in early June. In the meantime, there’s plenty of work to be done around here. Isn’t there always?

Sue and Wayne are in the keys with their friends Amy and Raymond for a few nights. I enjoyed seeing the pictures as we haven’t been for many many many years. Perhaps it’s time to go back for a visit?

Beautiful 🀩

We went for an early walk as rain was moving in about 6 o’clock. 15 minutes before that we were caught in the wind and had to rush back. It was like being sandblasted with bits of the trees. It rained heavy for a few minutes and now it’s just a nice steady rain and we’re sitting on the front porch enjoying the coolness of the evening.

Friday, April 9, 2021

Good morning y’all ... it’s garage sale day in our ‘hood. It’s always fun to put a few things out and meet the neighbors as we tend to exchange stuff. LOL. Actually, Lynn is having her estate sale today so Markymark and Lani jumped on an estate sale too! We have sold over $100 worth of bits, and Lynn so she is doing fantastic. That’s great, and she looks so relieved today to be getting to the end of this adventure.

This afternoon, both Mark and I worked on eBay listings for Lynn, then enjoyed a golf cart ride with the dogs, and sat on the front porch after dinner for wine and cigars. Tomorrow, rain is supposed to be moving in so we will have a more relaxing day. Tata for now.

Miss BeeZee is sure enjoying her front window throne on her world. πŸ₯°

Thursday, April 8, 2021

Thursday, April 8, 2021

Good afternoon! This morning I met with Pat, Carol, Dena and helped Lynn price things for her estate sale tomorrow. It took us a couple of hours, but got it already for tomorrow. Lynn asked us to go to hurricanes for lunch along with her friend Peggy who had arrived a little later. We decided to go to hurricanes and got there at 12:30. Inside the restaurant there was plenty of space but outside was packed. Regardless, we had to wait 35 minutes to get a seat as they were short of staff. It was nice to sit and talk with the girls although it took nearly an hour to get lunch.

Mz Bee was enjoying her new window seat.

Wednesday, April 7, 2021

Good evening from us here in Central Florida where it’s been a gorgeous sunny day.

It was a stay at home and get some work accomplished kind of thing. Mark blew the leaves off the boathouse roof, took a break, then cleaned the gutters. Our beautiful live oak tree drops a lot in the spring!

The little birds are thriving ... three wee heads are begging for food. Momma’s busy!

My job today was starting new books for our corporation. Stan knew my ways πŸ˜‚ ... but I’ll try to keep better records and notes for my new accountant. 😊

Sad news learning Jack Hanna has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He’s done so much to educate us on the animals he loves. Prayers for him and the family.

Last night I gave Markymark a haircut on the front porch while we were having a drink. It looked ok last night ... but here was Lani’s reaction today.

Lani, cracking up. (I gave him a touch up today. πŸ€ͺ

Tuesday, April 6, 2021

Good afternoon. It was a very exciting day here. We actually went out for lunch. 😷 We had not been to the Crazy Gator for at least a year because of COVID-19. Today, Mark uncovered the boat, we went for a cruise and enjoyed lunch. There were only other three other tables occupied in the entire restaurant, but the outside porch was full. It was an absolutely perfect day on the lake, no wind !

The Crazy Gator 🐊 lunch! We shared a Chef Salad and 10 grilled wings. Yum yum.

Flat Lake Eustis today! It’s been windy for much of spring thus far.

Tonight, drinks 🍹 on the porch with Lani and Markymark ... there’s bowling to plan.

Monday, April 5, 2021

Monday, April 5, 2021

Good afternoon. Yes, Mark reminded me to start the blog as I’m a bit late doing so today. I’ve been cleaning up a few closets and getting things ready for a garage sale this coming week. Mark has been outside finishing the fence cleaning. He’s all done now so we are watching an episode of Alone that we couldn’t stay up for last night.

Here’s my painting of the day ...

Tonight is American Idol so we are down for the count for two hours. LOL cheers enjoy your evening.

EASTER SUNDAY 2021

Good morning and happy Easter. πŸ£πŸ‡

BeeZee & Robbie are ready for the Easter Bunny ... I cooked them eggs for breakfast this morning as Mark was in the woods hunting for turkeys. (He was a conservationist today. πŸ˜‚ Two hens were spotted; no Jakes.)

It was a low-key Easter celebration at our place ... we enjoyed a few postings from friends, otherwise a regular wonderful day here in Central Florida. ☀️

Cousin Miles’ Easter egg decorations. Haha.

I finished my painting “English Cottage Joy” this afternoon ... tomorrow Mark will frame it.

All done! I enjoyed the loose process of painting this one!

That’s it for today. 😍

Saturday, April 3, 2021

Saturday, April 3, 2021

Good morning from Central Florida where it is another cold start to our day. Mark has gone turkey hunting with Bob and I bet they are freezing. The Ocala forest is always colder! Meanwhile, BeeZee and Robbie woke me up at 7:30, looking to snuggle in bed with me. πŸΎπŸ’• Now it’s coffee time and Mz B is snuggled on my lap. ☕️

Yesterday‘s blog got off track. I painted in the afternoon and then got ready for Yaya‘s on zoom with the girls. Right after that, LaDonna and Wayne arrived having picked up dinner from Stavros. We had dinner, sat on the front porch, had cigars, and then played three rounds of chasing marbles. That is really a fun game. They left about 10 o’clock and we headed to bed after a fun day.

So I painted today ... Mark made a side tabletop for his BBQ cart and our friend Nancy stopped in with art canvases from Mary. I won’t have to buy any huge ones for quite sometime. πŸ₯°

Here’s what’s on the easel right now ...

maybe complete this biggie tomorrow.
