Good afternoon. While I vacuumed and cleaned the house, Mark tidied the yard after last weekend’s windstorm. There were small branches to be picked up at Marky-Mark’s house too. One neighbor said the storm was “nothing” and the other said “whipping.” πŸ€” It must have been a combo ... our umbrella was still up in the backyard, but in the front yard, there were lots of little sticks and Spanish moss strewn about the yard. 😜

Since it’s such a nice afternoon I took the Scotties for a long ride on The Caddy. We stopped to visit Cheri and heard her tale about the sister-in-law’s home being infested with Formosan subterranean termites; the first case ever in Florida. They’re getting help with treatment as the State’s 1st case! Yikes. Apparently, that (wood frame) home has been treated twice and seven months later, they are still finding live termites ... voracious and vicious.

Down south, Sue and Wayne hosted a BBQ (Wayne’s at the grill cooking chicken (I’m guessing.)

Everyone looks great! Party on! πŸ’• (Carol’s hair looks really good!) Thanks for taking the picture Sue. πŸ‘πŸ»

Tomorrow we’re planning a boat ride with the dogs to lunch. Hopefully it’s nice and calm like today was. That’s it, it’s nearly midnight and bedtime.
