Good afternoon. It’s about 130 and we’re all set up and sitting on the patio enjoying the breeze and the birds. It’s a nice campground, lots of Live Oak trees.

This afternoon, Mark was making Cheezit broccoli for tonight‘s side dishes, while Karen & Pete were doing steaks and smoked baked potatoes for the main course. We had dinner at the lodge and played a few rounds of bingo afterwards. Mitzi won and Sheila won from our group.

Bee eye en gee oh and BINGO was the name-o! Ha! Karen and I kept company with the pro players! It was fun.

Tonight, Karen and Pete came over for a nightcap. Storms are predicted for early morning, so Mark put all our patio things away.

Today was Louise and Harvey Tallman’s 71st wedding anniversary. So many of my memories are wrapped around that wonderful couple. They were good friends of my parents and many weekends were spent boating with the two family boats lashed together. ❤️

G’night y’all ...
