Good morning and happy autumnal πŸ‚ equinox

The Hopkins Clan from Tennessee.

It’s here, the first official day of fall πŸ‚ When I lived in Canada this date would begin a period of seasonal depression for me. Now, living in the south, this is my favorite seasonal time of year.

Mark was up and out the door by 5:45, excited for the first day of archery season. I couldn’t get back to sleep so started my weekly housekeeping chores.

My happy hunter returned home with 7-11 lunch for us  ... apple fritters. πŸ˜‹ (If you haven’t tried 7-11’s apple fritters just do it.) Delicious! 10 seconds in the micro and voila! Yummy.

Today was Dawn‘s first one back to work after two months off caring for Randy. So, I called him to see how he was doing! He had a list of chores ... laundry, planting some flowers and exercising...that was going to keep him busy for several hours today. (I think it’s what he needed ... busy-ness and put the knee pain to the back of the mind.) πŸ˜‚

Pam had quite a stressful day! She texted Mark that she’d ordered a new fridge from Best Buy based on measurements from the existing one. Easy-peasy, right?

So, the new refrigerator arrived and the delivery dudes uncreated the beast, loaded it on the dolly and ... Houston? We have a problem! The fridge didn’t fit through the kitchen doorway! So, the old fridge sits on one side of the doorway (with doors now ripped off!) and the new fridge sits in the foyer! 😳

After phone calls and waiting, waiting and waiting some more (1 1/2 hours) then being disconnected πŸ™„ Pam went directly to Best Buy to get things handled! πŸ‘πŸ» You go girl!

After telling Best Buy that their customer service sucked, Pam looked down to discover she was wearing her fuzzy slippers!!! πŸ˜‚

Well, a 3rd fridge is on the way but it’s WINE:30 ... a BIG glass!!!

😜 Yup ... it was ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

Meantime, our weather has improved marginally ... a high of 88 and lower humidity! The Scotties and I had a good ride on The Caddy .. plenty of Ibis around and 1 squirrel. Back home it was happy hour!

Sue and Wayne are going to meet Carol & Jack for dinner at Bella Roma and then going to see their new place in Wynmor.

Us? Mark’s cooking garlic Shrimp over jasmine rice tonight. The doggies had chicken, garlic potatoes and mixed veggies. All’s is well here.

We played two games of Scrabble and each won a game. πŸ‘πŸ» Now the Florida Gators are playing Tennessee!
