Good morning. It’s a chilly start to our day with temperatures in the 50’s. However, the sun is out and it will be up into the 70s later today. Everyone slept well last night!

Mark’s first job of the day was to test our well water. Now, we have to run the bottles into the government lab near Randy & Dawn’s place.

Our next task is to scrub and stain-block (acrylic paint) the captain’s seat. After that cures I’ll paint it with Behr Marquee acrylic. When I did the seats with craft acrylic paint, nothing flaked off and the seats remained flexible. Unfortunately, stains appeared through the vinyl! This is last chance for the boat seats ... so we’re changing the color as well. They were two-tone white and tan; now I’m painting them just tan!

Mark and Lew began whittling away at our sad Sycamore tree. I’m trying not to think about losing it, but it’s inevitable. 😢 We’ve tried to save it ... but no luck.

After a delish dinner of Omaha Chicken fried Steak, baked beans and Brussel sprouts we settled in to relax with a cheery fire! And Ancient Aliens is on Netflix. 👽

Tonight we ran outside to see the best night launch we’ve ever seen from our front door.

It was amazing ... a nice clear night.

Tomorrow, we have a busy day! Ta ta.
