LaDonna and I set up our painting on the picnic table. Then the wind came up ... hahaha, it was like one of Sue’s barbecues! Paper plates (used for paint) were flying! My canvas was caught by the wind and whacked me in the forehead. Next, a 3’ long branch blew out of the hickory tree and got me on the head! We were having fun ... but our “plein air” painting experience wasn’t like we see on TV. 🤣
At 3 o’clock, we helped Karen and Pete set up the community center for our dinner! It was potluck night and the selection was terrific. Mark made Baked Ziti and LaDonna made Potato Ham soup. Delish. Afterward we sat outside by the Oklawaha River with a big bonfire. It turned cold, in the 50’s so the fire was appreciated!
