Our area is going to be super hot today with air from the west ... maybe a good indoor day. I’ve been working hard to get my store up to 100 items ... and I’m getting close. Next week should do it. ππ»
Mark worked on The Caddy trailer ... and it’s now ready for planking!
Nice job! Next week, the deck will go on!
While Mark was working on the trailer he spotted the 5-6’ gator that our neighbor Kevin caught last week.
Apparently Kevin was fishing and the gator grabbed his bait ... so he hauled him in, up the sea wall and wrestled with him. (Yes, I’d like to have seen it! Kevin is near to 300 lbs and has bad knees!) Anyway, he got his hook back and tossed Mr. Alley Gator back into our canal. From the above pic I’d say he’s looking for another fisherman!
Meanwhile, Sue and Wayne are traveling today along with Aurelia and Tony heading to Joliet. I’ve asked for some pictures but, none. π€¨
Randy had more therapy today and felt he may have “overdone it” yesterday. Here’s the new device that helps to bend his knee.
We asked he and Dawn to join us at Tillie’s tonight with Karen and Pete but they’re taking a rain-check. Hopefully we’ll see them for dominoes over the weekend. I know Karen and Pete were hoping to see them too.
So, tonight’s dinner out. Yum! We met Karen and Pete at Tillie’s bar for happy hour before we ordered dinner. It was a fun time.
We talked to Tammy who used to work at the Hidraway but is now at Tillie’s!
Mark, Tammy and me.
After dinner we 4 went to 1884 for drinks and to listen to a singer. (He was really good!) Eventually, we all came here for Sambuca and to watch a TV show about Tavares. We’re glad their new house is nearby; they’re lots of fun.
That was our day. π
