After a big egg ‘n hash browns breakfast by Mark, Robbie and I went to the wee store (nothing of note for sale there 🤷♀️) and picked up 2 free copies of ‘The Rivah’ magazine for Karen. We’ll see her next Saturday, if not before.
It’s a very hot day here. We took the dogs for a ride about 10 o’clock, before the heat of the day sat in. The rest of the day, we’ve been puttering around the RV, staying cool. A lot of campers are leaving, this being Sunday. Mz BeeZee and I had a stretch out on the bed and tried to nap. That wee silly girl prefers to play! Robbie and dad did a crossword puzzle. I noted that said crossword book is now slated for kindling and a new crossword book is on the shopping list. 😜
I looked for the picture I had of Rosie, as a puppy, for the owner. It took a while to find in my photos as it was dated back to about 2008, but miss-filed in my pictures from having changed iPhones. Anyway, here is one of them and it gave me a bit of a chuckle.
That’s Miss Maggie outside, with her back to the company. Ha ha ha. That is wee Rosie (Robbie and BeeZee’s mama) sitting on the carpet, Rebel, Robbie’s daddy, on the wicker chair with ol’ Percy the Westie. Shiloh would have been around then too! Great memories! 🥰
We talked to Randy tonight. Dawn was picking up Makenna. They all leave Thursday for their Michigan family party.
After trouncing Mark in a game of Rummy, we phoned Pam and caught up on family news! Christine and Chase have set “the date” for their destination wedding. Hawaii ... in November! (No, it out of our realm to attend.) 🤷♀️ We’re looking forward to seeing Pam next week in Maggie Valley.
We took the kids for a sunset ride ...
it was great til the frogs 🐸 came out! The kids wanted to chase them! Time to go home!
