I have a call to Peninsula to rent a golf cart for the week. I’m just waiting for them to call back. I’m sure we’ll get one as they have a dozen behind the Trading Post here ready for pick up from the long weekend. It’s a bit like a ghost town here at the moment. 75% of the people went home or back to work. Sweet.
It’s also laundry day. 😝
Mark’s excited to try Old Bay seasoned potato chips!
Well, there were no golf carts available for today, so we were put off until tomorrow. We got the laundry done and then relaxed with the afternoon rain storm. It sure cooled it down as it’s now 75° outside. We enjoyed happy hour and the kids had frosty paws in their exercise pen. Life is pretty ding dang dong good. The campground has emptied out to almost silence. It’ll be very nice poking around here tomorrow on da cart.
There’s a restaurant on site open Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. Guess where we’ll be?
Tonight, Mark cooked marinated chicken and we had it with a salad and red potato salad. Afterward we played Mexican Dominoes ... I went out TEN times ... final score 178 me and 279 Mark! Crazy fun.
