Meanwhile, the news has been about Hurricane Michael in the Gulf of Mexico. It won’t be affecting us here in Central Florida but certainly the Panhandle area of Florida will be under threat. It has grown to a Category 3, a very dangerous storm.
Locally, Randy & Dawn wanted to go out for date night and suggested Jeremiah’s in Mount Dora. When we got there, it was raining and we all had to laugh as the last three times we’ve met there it has been pouring! Dinner was darn good. Mark had chicken Parm, I had ribs and a baked potato as did Dawn and Randy had fried chicken, extra crispy. Our waitress was a hoot, made a few mistakes, but overall it was good. Of course Randy had to pick the best seat in the house. The air-conditioner developed condensation and dripped on his head every once in a while. Of course there was lots of hilarious moments.
Dawn had barbecue sauce on her sleeve, and Randy got dripped on pretty regularly.
We were laughing, I had a lump of food on my purse which had been sitting on the floor, and Mark had sauce on his shirt! A good time was had by all, apparently. 😜 What a bunch!
Sue sent some pictures of a couple of pirates roaming around the Pompano Beach area ...

That’s it. Now it’s time to watch the news and relax. Ta ta.
