It's a sticky one here today, and I'm not just talking about the high humidity. π Our back door has plenty of sticky handprints in addition to the ever-present Scottie nose prints. What a fun evening we had! We were very happy our doggies enjoyed the girls! (The little boy, Brandon, is still scary to BeeZee.)
Mark has gone to help our friend Jim trim a tree branch that is hanging over the canal behind his house. Hopefully he won't be too long as it is very warm and humid. I put a load of laundry in then began gathering clothes to load into the RV tomorrow. We're going to pull it out of its port tomorrow and begin the process. Mark has a few minor maintenance things to do while it's on the driveway.
Here's Rose & Jim's canal ... before,
and after. ππ»
You know, I've enjoyed wearing Oscar perfume since the '80's seldom straying to try another. The last 2 bottles have been disappointingly "weak." It seems the alcohol content is too high. So, I searched online and discovered other people noticed the same as I did. Could it be since the death of its creator the formula's been compromised? After reading more comments, it turns out that the perfumes made in the USA tend to be different than the (authentic) ones made in France. So, I guess when I re-ordered I will have to make sure that it is from France.
But, there's a new perfume on the market ...
Covfefe ... π

Well, it started to pour here about 5 o'clock. We had been busy making our list, and checking it twice as π
πΌ would say, prepping for a ginormous shopping trip tomorrow. Mark made a big batch of meatballs and sauce, and we will freeze two containers of them for on the road meals.
Over the weekend, Sue and Wayne had Tony, Aurelia and dear Chessy visiting.
Chessy πΎπ ... We met him in Oklahoma City on his way north from Florida to Manitoba. Lucky boy! He looks great.
Tony and Wayne worked hard hanging a planter. Perhaps it was made more difficult after cheese and wine?
Did Mark and I miss Tony's (famous) peach pie?
Did you know it is Canada's 150th birthday? Here, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police walked onto the Capilano suspension bridge, which is 140 meters long and 70 m high over the Capilano River. It is located in North Vancouver, British Columbia. (We were on it in 2013!) π±
Some of them are clearly not comfortable being off their horses! Haha. (It bounces and sways with everyone walking. Not fun.)
Here's a great photo from a different perspective, where you can see the rushing water below! Yikes!
Here, the Mounties are lined up on the Capilano bridge ... Happy Birthday Canada, officially July 1, 2017 π¨π¦
That's it, it's time to relax. There's a dove in the birdfeeder and a cardinal sitting on the wind chime! Drat ... I wasn't quick enough with the camera.
