No, The crash boom bang isn't Dawn, but a thunderstorm. 😜 We are certainly happy to have the rain and are delighted to hear heavy rain on the roof. We've been in a terrible drought the past two or three months and wild fires have been difficult to control. So, yay. (The only downside was that we were going to watch Meredith's band, Eustis Station, play at Gator Bay tonight.) ⚡️ 

It was a very good morning for detail cleaning around the house. Mark felt well enough to shampoo our bedroom carpet. Yay. I could have called Stanley Steamer, but hate the intrusion into our house! And, we do own a carpet cleaner.

At 5:30, we are going to Mexico Del Sol in downtown Eustis for dinner and margaritas with Pat and Ken. That will be perfect fun for a rainy night. ☔️ 

Today is our pal Rick Moir's birthday! He and Daisy got matching shirts! Cute!

Poor Sue has been working diligently on a fundraiser to benefit Shih Tzu rescue. One of her volunteers had a baby two days ago, another is due in a few days, and another can't make it as her mother fell and broke several bones. Oh dear! That sounds like a conundrum. Wayne has already been pressed into service, and I suggested she call Carol, Jack, Sue, Emil, Pat & Derek for help! 

Well, Sue had a terrific event and raised over $4500 for the rescue. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We picked up Pat and Ken and went for dinner in downtown Eustis. Dinner was good, and we had a ton of fun. We went back to their place for a nightcap or two before coming home. 

Tomorrow's another day. I am worn out. Tata.
