Mark has concocted a name for the neighborhood guys, the GaGa's. He, Randy and Lew went to Crazy Gators for wings and hit the waitress up for a 10% discount. Apparently Lew asked for a military discount Mark got a AAA discount and Dawn wondered aloud if Randy got an old guys discount!" That got Randy's attention. 😳 Haha. 😂

But, that was yesterday. Today, I was up early to tidy after the party and put dishes away. After breakfast, Mark and I went on a shopping/errand spree. Believe me, after yesterday, we were both happy to be puttering about taking our time. Ha ha. We had $10 in Beall's bucks so bought two Reel Legends fishing SPF 50 shirts regularly priced at $50 each. With the 50% off sale and an extra $10 off the shirts were $20 each. Score. By the time we had finished with three other stores, there were no bargains. Ha ha. Mark bought more wood for beginning the last portion of our seawall project. (It's a beautiful day, but I suspect he will quit after unloading it as it just reached 80°.) Me? Laundry, bills and paperwork. So it goes!
Mark had such a laugh yesterday. The background to the story is that Lew fired his yard man, the second one in less than a year. The new company started yesterday. (We watched as the workers got the low-down from Mr Lew.)
I guess from the picture, you can guess the new yard workers lopped off one of the sprinkler heads! After they left the premises, Lew's automatic timer started his 4 o'clock watering (garage door open.) Need we say more? Lew was lucky his truck window wasn't open! Mark got the giggles ... Lew's garage was pretty wet!
Well, we had 4 o'clock cocktails on the front porch and then walked with the doggies. It's to settle in now after dinner and relax with the wee beasties. ❤🐾❤🐾❤
