Good morning y’all. We’re home from our annual dermatology appointments ... me without 11 p/c spots on my hands. Ouch. I told Grace she was real bitchy today. She laughed and continued torturing me with the can of freeze. Yikes. Mark was all good ... guess it pays to have olive-toned skin. The office group loved my shirt about the moon ...

this week is a super-moon, a full moon plus a Friday the 13th! They’re all into the moon creating crazies this week. 😂

Mark went with Marky Mark to Lowe’s to pick up a gorgeous four-door refrigerator and a built-in oven. They’re for the new kitchen in Calla 2.  Did the roof goes on there, weather permitting, March 16.  That’s going to improve our front porch view tremendously.

We had a lazy afternoon, early dinner and binge watched Weeds on Netflix. It was a great evening, very relaxing.  ❤️

Good morning y’all ... it’s a sunshiny day here in Central Florida.

Wayne had a marvelous birthday party last night ...

now that’s a great location! Happy Birthday dear Wayne! 🥰

The news is full of Covid-19 ... every station, every minute of the day. Yes, we are on high alert, and already weary of it all before anything much has happened. Mark has gone out to Walgreens to pick up his regular allergy medication and to see if there is any Zicam or Coldeze in the isles. Folks have been buying hand sanitizer on the Internet for well into the hundreds of dollars. If you must have it, make your own with rubbing alcohol and aloe vera. Sneeze/cough into a tissue and dispose of it immediately. Wash your damn hands, frequently, using soap and warm water. Facemask routine is only to keep you from touching your own face. It will not stop the Covid-19 virus from penetrating the mask if an infected person coughs or sneezes on you. Let’s use some common sense, take precautions, and carry on with life. Mark and I have always kept hand sanitizer in the car and we use it after being in every store, pumping gas and the like. We do it just because of the regular flu and cold season. The sunshine state of Florida gets more visitors than anywhere else in the country. Because of that, they bring in colds and flu. We have just gotten used to the idea of using sanitizers and washing our hands the minute we walked in the door. Please take precautions but, like we say, carry on with your life.

Tonight we met Randy & Dawn at Tillie’s in downtown Eustis for dinner. Afterward, we walked around a little bit and had a look at 1884 which is being rebuilt as the new Tillie’s!  We can’t wait to give it a try, it looks like a really interesting place.

Back home, Mark saw this on Facebook about our friend Rick ...

Feel better Rooster!

Good afternoon. It’s a bright beautiful sunshiny day with a wind out of the north. That has kept it cooler than normal, but a welcome change from last week’s high 80s.

Mark and Marky Mark are cutting down a huge limb that hangs over his pool area. Removing that will help to keep it all a lot cleaner on the screened enclosure.

I did the household chores and then began a new painting. The hard part is always deciding just want to paint.

Today is Wayne‘s birthday. We wish him a happy, healthy and prosperous year, with many more to come.

Robbie, Belize and I are sitting out back enjoying the wind chimes and the beautiful breeze. There’s not a cloud in the sky.

It’s a chamber of commerce type day. 😎

Friday March 6, 2020

Good afternoon sunshine! It’s TGIF ... and a fine day for a cruise! LaDonna and Wayno are joining us ... Karen and Pete are still painting their house so aren’t joining in the fun. Dawn’s at work, so they’re not going with us. No problem ... we’ll have a fine time. 🐝

We left home just after 1 o’clock and decided because of the wind change to go to the Crazy Gator in downtown Eustis.

Mark and Wayne smoked Lew’s last 2 cigars that Lynn had given Mark.

Yeah it was windy! But we had fun! Cheers!

Lunch was really good. LaDonna had the Eustis Cobb salad, I had chicken planks with blue cheese, Mark had fish and chips, and Wayne had Quesadillas. When we left the restaurant, the wind has died down briefly as it was switching around again. It was a nice ride home!

Tonight, I think we’re just going to relax at home and reframe a picture that RanDawn gave us! I bought a frame at the garage sale yesterday for $5 bucks. 😂

Cool. We like Eileen Seitz art.

Good morning. There’s a ding dang dong big front coming and I ached all night long. What the heck. How can you go from feeling 100% one day to feeling only 50% by morning.

Dayam, that front is miles away yet affects my joints! Here it’s sunny and warm!

Mark spent his day helping Marky-Mark and then shopping for a new chain saw. Happy is a man with tools. 😜

I helped out at the garage sale but mainly was a shopper. 😂

Randy & Dawn came over at 4 o’clock and we had a couple of cocktails, Ceasar salad and then pizzas.

Dawn brought over 4 lotto tickets and Randy was the big winner, 2 dollars. Winner winner chicken dinner! Anyway, we had lots of laughs.

Tomorrow, it’s a boating day. That’s it for tonight. Tata till tomorrow.

Wednesday, March 4, 2020

Good afternoon sunshine. It’s a summery day here with a high in the 80’s later. My morning was spent cooking the dog’s potatoes, sweet potatoes and green beans. While I was doing that, Mark painted our old outside chairs.

Randy & Dawn called hoping we would meet them for Mexican food tonight. Mark said he needs a night off just to chill out, so that’s what we are going to do. RanDawn will come over tomorrow and join us for pizzas at home.

As you can see, Dawn got the palm tree repotted while Randy sunbathed. 🤣

Actually, Dawn said Randy worked so hard moving river rock to the flower beds. It all looks gorgeous! Well done guys! 😍

It’ll be a busy day tomorrow around our neighborhood with the start of the annual neighborhood garage sale. I’m helping out at the sale for a few hours in the morning.

Mark will be helping Marky-Mark hang drywall tomorrow! That’s a good sign that he’s making progress on the main house. 😉

I think that’s it for today; we’re worn out this week.

Tuesday, March 3, 2020

It’s a good morning here in the Sunshine State! But, the news is grim with a powerful tornado ripping through Nashville Tennessee overnight. The TV news coverage shows buildings down. It’s going to be a terrible day there.

On the homefront, Mark plans a day in the woods with his buddy Bob. Me? I’m going to have a day of painting and a few chores. Mostly though, a relaxing day for us both.

We were invited to Kim and Bob‘s place tonight for drinks at 7 o’clock. I guess we had fun as we didn’t get home until 11. 😜

Ta ta til tomorrow.
