Good evening. We are relaxing now watching American Idol. Every season gets better and better contestants. Without it, would not see all this talent.

Earlier today, Mark switch the door from the garage to the RV port to a right hand open. He had bought another door but ended up just changing the other one. He’s quite amazing. We both puttered about all day working towards our goal of the Swim Spa on May 10. 

It’s such a beautiful evening that we took the dogs for a long golf cart ride. It was a little warm today at 84° but dropping down to 60s tonight.

There isn’t much else going on. Sue and Wayne went out for a turkey dinner tonight, having missed celebrating Easter.  Randy and Dawn have the grand daughters this weekend and have been quite busy.

Tomorrow is our summer league bowling. We haven’t bowled since Wednesday and are looking forward to it.

Good evening. We started our day with a trip to Home Depot to pick up a few things we needed for our bar project. Of course we ended up getting a lot more as it’s always the case. We needed some new gutter guards for the front to keep the leaves out of the gutters. This is one less job that Mark hast to do once they are on.

Here’s how we progress today. Mark felt the boxes where the drawers used to be so we can put bottles in there. Now, I have got them coded with Kilz and will paint them the black suede tonight. The new knobs are right, but of course the bolts are not the right size. OMG, another trip to the store. Ha ha.

The top portion is all done and ready for assembly. However, we are not putting a mirror back in there so I am doing a quick painting to fill the space.

We bought quarter inch plywood today, and I coded it twice getting it ready for art painting. The abstract background is done, and now for the main feature, maybe tomorrow.

Hey, it’s been a nice easy day, mostly. Mark cleaned M M’s pool this morning while I tidied up and began the sewing project! (My old wobbly ironing board is going to be replaced, finally.) I ordered one that raises to 38” high ... much easier to use for us taller folks. 😜

So JUSTIFY didn’t win the Triple Crown legally! What’s going to happen? Mark will be seeing Ken tonight ... he’ll have the scoop. Ken and Pat are race fans! 

Tonight is Yaya’s  ... at Deenna’s. She served ham, potatoes and green beans with almonds plus desserts. 👍🏻 After dinner we played “Things” ... with hilarious consequences. It was a great evening. 

Mark had dinner at Tillie’s with Jim, Ken, Jack and Dick. They had a great night too! Dick and Carol were RVing in North Carolina last week. 

Mark talked to Randy and apparently Dawn has been sick with the flu. So, they canceled the cruise. We’re sorry to hear that, but will be happy to spend time with them this weekend. 

40 MPH winds and rain ... here we go again! 

The funniest democrat debate is Joe Biden avoiding Bernie’s hand.
