Tonight, Mark and I went to a surprise birthday party at the Olive Garden for Eddi who turned 80 today. Deenna had arranged a table full of appetizers and we ordered drinks and waited for them to get there. He was so surprised!
After dinner we went back to their home for coffee and cake. Everyone brought gifts … and Eddi said it was his best birthday since 18. 🥰 Deenna got her hubs 4 nights away … going to SeaWorld and Kennedy Space Center. He’ll have a blast!
Back home we organized for tomorrow’s jaunt back to The Villages. Diane and Kris are bidding on a Villa and want our ‘old’ king bed for a rental. So, we’re loading it up in the Dodge and delivering it on our way to Sue and Wayne’s. More unpacking, hanging pictures and whatever.
There was sad news today from our friend Nancy. Kachina began bleeding from her paw and breathing rapidly. Dr. Wilson helped her cross the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. She lived a year after diagnosis of multi cancerous internal growths and a cancerous paw and was 13 1/2. Nancy gave Kachina a wonderful life and doted on her. Prayers for our friend Nancy to find peace in that Kachina finds Thomas, Nancy’s late husband.
We wish they’d stay youthful and healthy forever. Run free Kachina. 💕🐾 The entire neighborhood loved you.
