Mark was shopping for truss braces for our roof while I wanted to check out a 2nd air conditioner for our SunRoom. He didn’t find the braces at Lowes so we ordered 2 sets online.
I looked at a Hisense portable air conditioner suitable for 600 square feet. It was priced at $599 ... much higher than a Black and Decker A/C at $349 on Amazon. Mark liked the more expensive Hisense ... so we bought it at Lowes. (Haha. Mark had a $10 off coupon!) We loaded up the Kia and headed home.
Our local Winn-Dixie is getting a major facelift. Because of the muddle in the store, they’ve been offering extra points. Today, we got $38 off our bill. Not too shabby! We’re stocked up now and ready for a nice BBQ this weekend! 🥩
At 2:30 we took the Scotties for a boat ride. It was perfect weather ... a light chop.
Haines Creek was calm.
Haines Creek ... a huge American bald eagle 🦅 ... a wood duck and ducklings, a blue heron, numerous anhingas and 1 alligator.
Tomorrow, we’ll load the RV for our weekend of R ‘n R, install the A/C and then I have game day at Anita’s. Busy busy.
