Monday was our first day back bowling … and Mark set the bar pretty darn high! In 3 games his average was 208 each game! That’s a record that could stand for the season! 🤩🎳🏆 The Alley Gators team; not so great. Our team member Linda had had a fall and injured her wrist. Both Nancy and I just bowled “So-so” but had a fun afternoon! It was great seeing the group again! Seventeen teams this year!
Tuesday evening, Nancy treated Mark, Sue, Wayne and me to dinner at Longhorns Steakhouse! She was celebrating her new Hyundai Tucson hybrid. Wayne helped her negotiate a good deal. Mark and I wormed in there by helping with hurricane cleanup of her lakefront yard. It was a great evening with lots of fun stories.

Today, Wednesday, Mark went to the woods with his friend Bob. I worked, for the second day, trying to reduce some of the bills that creep up yearly. There’s always something being added to a bill and you tend to ignore it until it gets to the point of ridiculous. Today, I managed to get $97 in odds and ends of reductions. It doesn’t sound like much, but if you take it over the year, it’s over $1000 in savings. Now that makes a difference.
We spent all of those savings going out to dinner at the Eustis waterfront Grill with our group for friends night out. It was a fun time and delicious food.
