Sue and Wayne spent the night in Stuart in the motorhome during torrential rain. This morning, they had a problem unplugging the coach from the pedestal as it was surrounded by 2 feet of water. A bit of ingenuity solved the problem. Apparently Wayne tied a dog leash around the cord that’s plugged into the pedestal and then tied it to the rig, got in and backed up! It worked! Well now that’s an RV story that will be told and retold a few times. We will take a ride over to visit them later when they’re settled, and pick up a load of eBay things for listing.
Mark worked on the driveway project again, and it’s coming along very nicely. He got the second coat done on 1/2 of the driveway.
Nice! Much nicer!
Here’s my sweetie rehanging our sunroom ceiling fan. It had been dripping condensation on and off for quite some time. Mark took it down, and discovered the company that hung it had drilled for extra holes into the ceiling panels. Well, that just let all sorts of heat in which caused condensation. Geez, you just can’t get good help. Anyway, he fixed it, dried it all out and rehung the fan.
My Superman!
Now, Mark is repainting our main bathroom ceiling. We had a pendant light on 24 hours a day as it didn’t have a wall switch. Originally there had been a ceiling fan in the bathroom and when we remove that many years ago we hung up a light. ‘We’ finally removed it, and Mark patched the hole. He did a touchup with some leftover paint … but of course the whole ceiling needs painting. Ha ha. That’s life, isn’t it!!!
Yup … gotta repaint the bathroom!
Tonight, we met Sue and Wayne at their coach at Grand Oaks then we all went with Diane and Kris to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Sue and Wayne haven’t had a moment today, as Diane had houses for them to look at once they pulled into the campground. Dinner was good, and we all had fun.
That’s it for tonight!
