Lunch and laughter with ShayRod catching up on life.
Longhorn Steakhouse was quite busy … and the food was good! We had a nice quiet booth away from the crowd. Shay wondered aloud how we got put way at the back of the restaurant, all to ourselves. I said they took one look at me and put us in the back. Ha ha Ha. Roddy plays pickle ball regularly in their community. Shay loves to swim and walk but has succumbed to arthritis in her knees. They both look great!
When they were leaving I presented Shay with a Halloween pumpkin that I painted on a palm frond pod. (It’s her favorite time of year!) 👻
It looks cute on their front porch!
We came home a different way, 53 (I think) & 19. It seemed a little quicker to me, but still close to an hour and a half drive each way. It is what it is.
Back home, Markymark and Lani had been in and let the dogs out back and gave them a few biscuits. That was great … we were home about an hour after that.
There’s other family news … in London, Sharon celebrated a birthday with the family …

We took the kids for a golf cart ride tonight, and then settled down to watch deadliest catch. It’ll be an early night. 💤
