Good afternoon. It’s a rather cloudy, dull day here in the 60s. Mark decided it was a perfect day to prep the golf cart for a paint job. First ... we took the doggies for a long ride before we began disassembly!

Meanwell, Simplex Aluminum finished our sunroom roof repair. ✅ They’ve always done an excellent job for us and I’m certain this will be no exception. Thank you to Tom and staff for getting this done.

Stripping ...

The American flag and red tape were a bugger to get off. We learned that “cutting in” with a brush is tough with this paint ... better to roll it on with a fine foam roller, then tip-it with an artsy-fartsy hake brush.

The first coat is on ...

Wow, that’s BRIGHT. 😱

Randy and Dawn popped in about 430 to see how our project was going. We were happy to see them ... Dawn suggested going to Stavros and we all thought that sounded good!

Sue and Wayne had a gala party at the yacht club, so they were out enjoying life too.

Rain is forecast for tomorrow afternoon, so painting will not resume until Monday. All the black has to be done yet plus another coat of the seafoam green. It’s going to be Key West fabulous.
