Er, NO, Home Depot wouldn’t cut the panels. Hahaha. Well we weren’t going home for the truck ...
so duck down and drive! π
We made it home with scarcely sore necks and began working.
These are the Red Kingston panels we started with ... Mark cut the puzzle pieces and I faux finished them to match the fireplace (whitewashed) brick.
The side pieces are standing beside the actual fireplace brick, and the upper panels are leaning against. Everything needs to cure before we install it tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a busy one for us ... our 24th anniversary, finish the project, witch game day at Nancy’s then our anniversary dinner at Red Lobster. ❤️
We paused during our project for 4 o’clock happy hour ... a fun retirement schedule adopted from mom and dad. π§π·
In other news ... Randy golfed yesterday and hit par on a Par 5 ... π️ ... ✅ ... maybe the Harley balls are decent? He’s well under 100 nowadays ... SCHWEET. Dawn’s working all week but they’ll be here Friday for dinner. Randy is working on board replacement on their deck. That’s a regular maintenance thing in our area due to humidity.
Sue and Wayne are still having repairs done at home after September’s Irma hurricane. They have gone to the yacht club for dinner and dancing tonight.
It was a great night so we enjoyed a fire by the water with Robbie and BeeZee.

The panel in the Monty is totally something we would do. We just brought home a new water heater in the SUV.
