(Lame duck as Corker is retiring, not running in the mid-term elections.)
Words matter folks. Wars start with broken down negotiations. Our Pres undermines his appointees including Tillerson, by tweeting direct contrasts to foreign policy. Frightening.
In other distressing news, California’s wildfires are racing through the Napa Valley region. Gee, I wish I didn’t turn the TV on this morning! What the hell.
Meanwhile, back at home in Central Florida, our only complaint is an August-like heat-wave in October! Otherwise, things are a-ok. Mark is hanging the bathroom bifold and I’m doing other chores. We’re getting it done before our week away RVing. YeeHaw.
Well it’s Columbus Day! Who knew? The post office was closed, that’s how I knew. Drat. Mark and I made a run of 4 errands with the post office the last stop.
RanDawn will be popping in about 6:30 for a visit. 😀We are ready for company, well not tidy house ready. No problem, they know we’re under construction over here. (What a nice evening we had, talking and enjoying each other. Dawn’s off tomorrow so we’ll meet at Guadalajara for Taco Tuesday! Fun.)
Mark’s cousins arrive Wednesday to visit aunt Jane. We’ll get over for a visit before leaving town Thursday!
Sue and Wayne went to Bella Roma for dinner ... wish I was there for the Penne ala Vodka. 😋.
Ta Ta til morning.
