Good (wee hours) morning. 🌙 The sky was perfect for viewing the Perseid meteor shower. Before bedtime Mark and I saw 2; one meteorite lasted a few seconds. Cool. So when I awoke at 3 o'clock I headed straight to the balcony again. Alas, the waning moon was bright thus hindering the view. (It was awesome before bedtime ... we don't see the night sky 🌌 like we all remember as kids; too much light pollution (or cataracts?) perhaps.) 

Tonight (8/12) will be "the best" viewing before moonrise. For your area go to timeanddate.com ... 😜

It's 11:30 and we're off to S-Island for a cruise. 

At 4 o'clock we went to Logan and Sue's for happy hour, just across our little bay. They had an amazing spread of treats plus drinks. Also invited were Ann and John, our next-door neighbors. Everyone is very interesting and it was a fun mix of people.

When it came time to go home, about 100 yards away, the Windsorcraft didn't start. LOL. 

John and Ann towed us home on their Jetski. Ha ha ha ... I guess it's battery shopping tomorrow!

Tonight, we are having pizza upstairs with Sue and Wayne.

Dinner was good; we played dominoes afterwards; Wayne was the big winner. At 10 we went to the dock  to watch the perseid meteor showers. It was a beautiful evening, no bugs and just a slight breeze We saw several meteors in about an hour! Cool beans!

Tomorrow, we are going to Kendall house, a bed and breakfast, for brunch! Sweet. 😎
