We encountered construction around Sioux Narrows. It looked as if the road had been washed out. There were a few severe rough patches!
Loonies and Toonies are packed away along with our Canadianisms. Eh? On the International Falls Bridge, the Canadian/US border, we saw a Cedar Creek fifth wheel entering Canada. We waved as we passed and then spotted their license plate, they were from Florida! Ha.
We spent 15 minutes at the border today. The agricultural inspectors, 3 of them, came onboard ... and left with our cherry tomatoes. (They were in the original store-bought container.) 🤷♀️
Duluth, Minnesota has striking scenery. Too bad it's a gloomy day, but great for travel.
After a couple of stops, we arrived at Rice Lake RV park at 4:15. It's very clean and nice. Most of the sites have seasonal campers ... but 10 are reserved for travelers like us.
Tonight, we are doing a load of laundry, on board, and cooking a pizza. Our Scotties like this site as there is a dog outside our window! Exciting ... even if it is a quiet black labrador.
Tomorrow should be an easier day, drive wise as we will not have the 200 miles of two-lane roads we had today; nor a border crossing. We are headed for Tin Cup RV Park in Mahomet (Champagne), Illinois, 476 miles.
