Good morning! Day 1 ...

Our Mr. Handsome’s picture on recovery day 1. That’s breakfast on his nose ... Mark wiped his face right after this. 

We had a good day with Robbie. He’s feeling pretty good. He slept a couple of hours this afternoon in the leather tecli er in my art area. As long as I am nearby he seems comfortable. Mark and I took turns keeping an eye on him and making sure BeeZee wasn’t in his face trying to play. (She’s rambunctious!) 

LaDonna and Wayne came over around four with new dog toys for the kids. They’re great pals ... always supportive! They were able to get their first injections today at WinnDixie! 

Robbie and BeeZee sat on the front porch with us tonight after dinner. Now it’s Telly time. 🥰

Good morning. Our sweet boy Robbie is at the vet for surgery today. 🐾💕 Poor guy wanted Mark to hold him, but with the darn virus he wasn’t allowed to even walk him in. Sad. We’ll be picking him up late today.

Mark had his 2nd vaccine dose yesterday; no ill affects today. Yay. I’ll get mine Thursday morning! 

The vet’s office called ... Robbie did well in surgery. Dr. Wilson wasn’t able to remove all the growth as it is into the sinus cavity. The tissue will be sent to the lab for testing ... but it may be 14 days before we hear if it’s benign or malignant. We’ve been on this road before and are very worried for our wee guy. 😢

The fun continued with my dermatology appointment where a biopsy was taken from my leg. That will be a couple of weeks before I know if it’s melanoma or not. 🤷‍♀️

Good morning sunshine! Mark and Bob are going hiking this cool start to our day. Gotta love Central Florida, cool mornings and warm afternoons at this time of year. 

The art course this week is creating a mandala ... fortunately Mark had a compass in his man cave. Sweet. 

After Mark got home from the woods hiking with Bob, we jumped in the car and went to check on our second vaccine appointments. We were told to come back on Thursday morning. Back home, Mark got a call for his second vaccine and went right away to get it. So, he’s all done. In the meantime I got a phone call and my appointment is for Thursday. That is wonderful ... we will be all vaccinated and ready to have a fun time in South Florida. Yay!!!

Now, our only concern is to get through tomorrow with good news on our senior boy. 🐾💕 Robbie surgery is early morning.

Good evening y’all. It’s Wayne’s birthday today ... 🎶🥂🍾🎂 and we wish him a wonderful day, and year!

Tonight, Wayne’s having birthday dinner with Sue and friends. Enjoy! 😍

Our typical lack of luck visited us again. ☹️ I turned on the Sunroom TV ... and it blew! WTF? We enjoyed it for music last night ... and it was weird shutting it off. Drat. 

LaDonna and Wayno popped over with a bag of the round ice cubes that we like and to say hi to the doggies. They were picking up their granddaughter for a sleepover tonight.

Mark gave the kids nice haircuts with shorter beards ... Robbie’s will be ravaged during Tuesday’s surgery. Anyway, they felt really good after their baths. I made popcorn for happy hour today and then we had a good walk after dinner. The wind felt pretty cool. tonight, we’re catching up with TV, in the living room. Ha ha.

Good morning y’all. It’s going to be a hang about the house day with rain forecast. That’s a good thing; we have projects to finish. 😜

Mark has been painting too ... but household repairs. 😘

Well, as you can imagine, this kept me fairly busy all week. Now tonight, Kim and Bob are coming to learn a new game with us.  Fun. 

Well we had fun playing the game of marbles, and then segued into a round of Mexican dominoes. Kim just loved that game and wants to buy one. We said we will play with them a few more times so they get on to the neighborhood rules. Ha ha. So that’s it for our day. I hope yours was just as fine. Good night.

Good morning sunshine! We’re at our local vet with Robbie this morning. Poor giy had a lump come up alongside his left nostril on Tuesday. 

Waiting impatiently for Doc. 🐾💕 (Robbie is only here for the treats!) 😊

The needle aspiration wasn’t able to get any cells other than ted and white blood cells. So ... Tuesday Robbie will have surgery to remove the lump. After that it’ll be sent for analysis at the lab. We’re very worried. 🥲

Sue and Wayne had some new landscaping finished at their place today and it looks beautiful.

So, after dinner, we took a walk with the dogs towards the circle. Uncle Bob was there and invited us in for a drink. Three hours later, we have finally arrived back home. LOL. We had lots of laughs and invited them to come and play a game of marbles with us tomorrow night. Also, Bob is to bring his Merle Haggard  music collection for tomorrow night.

Good morning from Central Florida where it’s a bright and beautiful sunshiny day and 54°F. Mark is walking the dogs and I was reading the news.

We had a fun golf cart ride ... sat on the front porch ... chatted with Lani and Markymark ... had steaks for dinner ... then watched a few episodes of Bloodline. 

 It’s rather uncanny that nearly 100 years ago, on this date, the Spanish flu started. Here’s the story on that.
