Good morning. Just as Mark was leaving at 5:45, I was getting up. We hollered greetings to each other as he left to go hunting with Bob. It’s a gorgeous start to the day, in the 60s this morning. I know they will have an enjoyable time. Meanwhile, I will get my day started and re-organize the messy art area. I have a few jewelry projects to do and can’t get into it until I have tidied and organized more! It took a lot to move out of the craft room/garage where I was comfortable.

It’s now going on 6 PM and we both had busy days. I talked to Randy this afternoon and heard they had changed their plans about going to Kiku's tonight. They’ve had Charlotte and Makenna  since last night and planned to meet everyone at dinner. Apparently Brandon Junior’s teacher tested positive for Covid and now the poor little guy has to be tested too! Oh Em Gee ... scary! So, Randy, Dawn and the girls are going to Stavros instead.

Mark was busy with Bob most of the day. I got my craft area finished up and everything is sorted and very workable now.

Curios loaded with jewelry making findings and beads.

L-shaped desk and new side tower for art necessities

The whole ensemble ... I’m enjoying it very much!

This evening, LaDonna and Wayne are stopping over for a visit. It won’t be a late night as we have to take the RV to Giant first thing in the morning for its annual maintenance checkup. The Scotties are going with us tomorrow as we have learned if we take them and hang out around the sales office our service work is done in two or three hours. If we leave the rig, it’s two weeks before we pick it up. Ha ha Ha, we got their number.

LaDonna and Wayne came over about 730 and we had a couple of drinks and then sat on the front porch while the guys enjoyed cigars. They are such a fun couple, we always have lots of laughs. That’s it for today to tomorrow is a busy one,

Good evening. It’s been a bright beautiful sunshiny day here in Central Florida with a high temperature of 80°. Beautiful. This morning, I worked on a painting project, getting shelves done for my art area. Now that I am totally out of the garage and giving it over to Mark and his hunting gear, I needed a little more storage for my bead working tools.

After my painting was done, we got ready for a boat ride to Sol de Mexico with Kim, Bob, Markymark and Lani. We did a cruise across Lake Eustis to the restaurant. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, nice breeze but not over nine or 10 miles an hour.

On the port side is Markymark and Lani, and on the starboard side is Bob and Kim. everyone had liquid libation.

These guys just decorated for Halloween. They are still renovating their house, but had enough time to put things out. Amazing couple!

Bob and Kim go out fishing nearly every day on their flats boat. There’s absolutely no shade, so definitely not for Mark and me. Yesterday they were on lake Harris and took a picture of a pretty cool boat house.

Cool medieval castle style boathouse!

My sweetie captain aka Camo Jesus according to Markymark. As I took this pic, from MM’s angle the massive cross at Grand Island church was directly over his hat!. 😇 😂

It was such a clear day I took a picture of downtown Eustis. The water front walkways have been redone and there is plenty of shade along the waterfront.

Nice eh? We love this area!

We docked Mrs R B behind Crazy Gators and walked to Sol de Mexico for early dinner. We all ordered fajitas. They are the best in this area. Lani and Markymark had margaritas, and apparently they were strong as they had to hold each other up on the way back to the boat. LOL

As we were walking up the ramp to the restaurant, Bob spotted an Anhinga with string wrapped around it’s neck!!!. He grabbed the bird, Mark got out his knife and the fellas managed to get the string cut away from the bird’s beak. A waitress from crazy gator‘s had been trying to help the bird and said it had been like that for a week. 🤷‍♀️

The string was wrapped so tight the bird could not even drink water!

It was very calm all the way through, probably exhausted and starving.

There it is, swimming away. We watched for a few minutes and made sure it was OK. It dove down several times just to drink water. On the way back from the restaurant we saw it sitting on the shore drying it’s wings!. It certainly is skinny, but I think it will make it. Good job guys! ❤️

Today is twenty years since dad passed. We had a toast to his memory. 😢

I think of you every day Dad, cheers to the good times we shared. ❤️

Back home, the dogs were happy to see us as it was dinner time. That’s it for today. It’s TV time. And we brought home enough leftovers to add to omelettes in the morning.

Good morning! Yesterday slipped by me while I was finishing up a painting.

It’s off in the mail today ... a surprise for a friend who lost his brother to Covid. I hope it’s a worthy memorial.

Last night, we went to Kim and Bob‘s for our 7 o’clock Calla Court get together. Rose & Jim couldn’t make it as Jim was not feeling well yesterday. He has rheumatoid arthritis flared up. Poor guy. Marky-Mark was there but Lani had a sleepover with her mom in Orlando. (They made caramel popcorn.) We enjoyed ourselves and in fact weren’t home until midnight. We think we solved a lot of the world problems, but who can remember? 😂  🥃.

Randy is feeling much better after his bout of bronchitis. He and Dawn were out running errands and shopping. It’s scary to hear people cough, never mind having a fever. Today the USA tallied over 8 million cases! They invited us to celebrate Randy’s birthday at Kiku’s this weekend. We had to decline; there’ll be 8 of them, and no way to social distance. We hate to miss a party. 😳

Sue and Wayne had dinner outdoors at the yacht club this week. She said it was so nice sitting at the Intracoastal. I wish we could go south for a wee trip but not with the 🦠 cases surging. 🤷‍♀️

I finally got my arts ‘n crafts totally moved out of the garage and gave it over to Mark. He needs to sort things out now that he has lots of space. (I have another (small) storage shelf to paint and use on my new black desk.)  And ... I sold the psychedelic jellyfish painting today.

Schweeet.

Tomorrow’s plan is boating with Kim, Bob, Marky-Mark and Lani to an early dinner downtown. Margaritas will be flowing.

It appears our weather will be great!

Ta ta til tomorrow! Stay safe ... wash your hands ... wear a mask in public ... social distance ... and stay home when you can. 🥰

Good afternoon. I was worn out after our five days away and one day of cleanup, so I enjoyed my day painting. Mark decided today was a good one for cleaning the boat. It wasn’t too hot, and the boat really needed it. We haven’t used it in a couple of months!

Good afternoon. We got home about 130 today and started unloading when Mark’s friend Bob came by. He needed some help, so we went Mark. Now I am doing laundry and each load I take out to put away I bring in a load of something else. That’s the way it goes after five fun days camping.

Good evening. We’ve had a fun but busy couple of days. There’s been swimming, a bit of socializing, eating out and in general having fun at this beautiful KOA Campground. We all agree it’s the nicest KOA we have ever been to. Every time we’ve gone to the pool we’ve had it to ourselves. It’s like a private oasis surrounded by Queen and Areca palms.

Last night LaDonna cooked a lasagna for dinner and Mark contributed with garlic knots. We went to their place and took the dogs. Oh my goodness they sure like to spoil them.

Mz Bee was allowed to sit on the back of their leather sofa with Wayno!

Robbie played nicely with LaDonna.

I think the “L” word was mentioned. Robbie sat on the sofa back too!

This evening, we went to the lucky dill restaurant and had huge pastrami sandwiches and pickles. It’s a New York themed restaurant and bar.  The food was really good. Afterwords we walked around the KOA and then sat by the pool while the guys had cigars. Tomorrow, it’s back to normal. This has been a really fun place that we would like to come back to.

Early this morning Mark and Wayne went fishing down at the pier. Apparently they lost a lot of rigging and beat, but Mark caught one monster!

Hahaha!

Good afternoon. We started with a nice sunny day here in Tarpon Springs, but it has now clouded up. Mark and I spent an hour at the pool this morning, and had the whole place to ourselves. It was odd, we thought with all the rigs here the pool would be full, but it wasn’t. Nice!

Last night we had a potluck with LaDonna, Wayne, Markymark and Lani. They brought their two dogs and Mark set up the pen for them. Eventually our sat outside with us at a safe distance. Ms. B was itching to get over there and give them what for but Robbie was fine.

Tall boy Henry and Brady ... both older rescues. (Brady has his food in the water bowl ... again! 😂

Rusty Bellies for lunch with LaDonna and Wayno.  The downtown area is fabulous.

This afternoon the guys watched the Gators 🐊 game while LaDonna and I worked on our art at the picnic table. It was lovely and breezy!

Tonight we went to downtown Tarpon Springs and had dinner at Demetries. Markymark and Lani met us there. We sat at the waterfront and tossed food in for the catfish. Don’t worry, everybody does it including the waiters.

It was a fun evening. Afterwords we went back to see where Markymark and Lani were staying at the Blue  Moon Inn. It was a large two room suite with beautiful landscaping around. There is an RV park attached.
