Good morning! We were up too late last night ... had a nice time at Nancy’s just sitting around her pool watching the fireworks all about Lake Eustis. 

Today was housekeeping day, no big thrill, but always nice to have it done. We put a few things into the RV this evening after we went for an hours golf cart ride with the dogs. This is the quietest Fourth of July I’ve ever seen. There was no one out except for a couple of people playing games. Robbie had a fantastic ride as there were so many white ibis. Hundreds, so many flocks we’ve just never seen them like that before.

So you and Wayne have Ron and Kyle at the cottage for the weekend so they will be kept busy. We’re planning to meet Randy & Dawn tomorrow to celebrate her birthday. And that’s it for our news. All is well here.

Well ... we have plans to go to Nancy’s and watch the fireworks tonight from her backyard, but it is pouring rain right now. Mark is being the optimist and saying it is going to clear up by 8 o’clock. I hope so, as Markymark and Lani plus Kim and Bob are coming with us.

Hey there! It’s a nice day here in Central Florida; still a bit hazy but better after the midday rain showers. 

The RV is on the driveway readied for a trip to Lazy Days in Tampa. I was amazed that it was pristine inside, even after sitting idle since February. I dusted, but it was all good! Sue wondered what we’re’getting away from’ 😂 but it’ll be a change of 4 walls. Our friends LaDonna & Wayne are going too ... and birthday celebrations will be toasted. Perhaps more than marshmallows will be toasted. 🤪 Mark’s birthday is Monday and LaDonna’s is Friday. P A R T A Y  🥂🍾🎂🍻🤩

So we were enjoying a quiet happy hour on the front porch with the doggies and a bowl of popcorn when Nancy and Kachina stopped by. Well, 10 minutes later Lani and Markymark went by and then stopped in for a drink as well. Now, we have a party planned for tomorrow nights fireworks display in Eustis. We will watch from Nancy‘s dock. Life is good.

Happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day ... 

Just finished another (not) masterpiece ...

A friend of Mark’s commissioned this for his wife! It was something completely different for me. Hope she likes it. 

Shorty, Chiki and Mimi are ready to celebrate Canada’s birthday! 

Our excitement here was RAIN! It didn’t pour but was a steady light rain. The air cleared, temperature dropped and we went for a big ride on The Caddy! Woop woop! 😂 The kids loved it! 

Tonight ... Pat & Ken’s place for our Wednesday get together! 

Well, that was a fun Canada day celebration at Pat and cans. Lani and Markymark brought a homemade cheese roll, Mapleleaf cookies and Nanaimo bars for everyone. We drank wine, swim in the pool and had a real nice evening. Boy is that a nice home they bought. And now at 11 o’clock it is still 79°, but it was a beautiful evening. Tata till tomorrow.

Good morning. It’s a bright beautiful sunshiny day here in Central Florida. Yes, it’s going to be another hot one as we still have that darn Saharan red dust heating up our area. Well, it’s not just us, it’s the entire Caribbean and the United States up to North Carolina and over to Oklahoma. The sad part is, there’s more coming. Good news ... we’re halfway through 2020, the lost year. 🤷‍♀️ 

Mark worked pressure washing the RVPORT today while I painted a picture for a school friend of his. At 4 o’clock Marky-Mark and Lani came over for happy hour and pick up their new tiki guy for their bar area. I made popcorn ... Mark made drinks and we sat around the bar and had a few laughs. 

I think Marky-Mark liked the new mask!

Good morning. Mark was up and out early and off to the woods to check his trail cameras with Bob. I don’t expect he’ll  be long because of the Saharan dust cloud that (still) lingers over our area. Also, it’s bound to be hot again today, again, with the red dust cloud. I hope we’re rid of that thing in a few days. We have enough plague going on without 100 year dust storm!

Mark delivered the Redfish to Bob ... 👍🏻

At 4 o’clock, we met Bob and Kim at Lynn’s pool fir happy hour. Robs and Bee swam too ... the first time in awhile. 

HedzUp for the kids! They work great! 

This afternoon I did an interview of friends Jack and Linda for our “spotlight on“ article in the newsletter. With the cases of COVID-19 so very high in Florida, I did the meeting on zoom. They thought that was great fun.

Good afternoon y’all. We’re staying home today and pulling the RV out of its port for cleaning. Mark plans to pressure wash the ceiling of the RVPORT today!

Mark came in pretty tired after working in the 97° heat. There was a bit of a breeze, but it was hot. He’s coughing a lot after being out there with that Saharan dust which is moving up to North Carolina now. It should be out of our area in a day or two. I can’t even go out and walk the dogs without getting wheezy. 

Randy & Dawn had a family get together with everyone at their place today ... we are so sad to miss it. We can’t take a chance with our history of bronchitis and asthma. (The cases in Florida are skyrocketing, we are about the worst State in the nation.) Bars are closed down again and people are begged to wear masks in public. Of course there are still those who will not ... their civil liberties being more important to them than their loved ones. We’re 9585 new cases in Florida just yesterday. 

Tonight we watched 3 episodes of Dexter after supper ... then got into watching Alone, season 6.
