 Good morning. We were both up early, Mark to go to the woods with Bob while Kim and I went to breakfast. That was a nice treat.  There’s a little hole in the wall where Zellies pub was ... with a good breakfast. 

 When I got home, I was all fueled up on a Denver omelette and washed the front of the house and all the screens on the porch.  It was pretty dirty, lots of lizard poop around!  I found 4 lizards living in the front porch. They were all evicted when Mark came home!

Since we have a new living room carpet, we didn’t want Robs and Bee chewing rawhides on it. 

Look how good they’re being! I put down a towel for each and they stayed right there. Smart Scotties. 🐾💕

Tonight we’re in blackout mode due to a horrible hatching of blind mosquitoes! Yeah, they don’t bite but they’re annoying. Mark covered the garage windows so I could sort my jewelry order received last week. 

Now it’s relax time. Tomorrow we’re taking the kids for lunch by boat. 😜

 Good afternoon. We were up at seven, let the dogs out and then brought them back to bed with us till 8:45.  They like having a little snuggle time, especially BeeZee. 

 Yesterday, before going to City Fire restaurant we met Wayne & LaDonna‘s two Corgis. Of course they’re beautiful and sweet. (They have a GORGEOUS home that they call a cottage.) WE have a cottage. 😊 Wayne is a retired Major and happy to show us his and LaDonna’s home. In their office, Wayne has an authentic English Bobby’s helmet and club. I had to get a picture for my cousin Adam!

 Randy and Dawn had a visit with son Brandon and Brandon Jr. before coming to meet us at Stavros for dinner.  The restaurant was packed, and they secured the last booth in the place. As usual, dinner was fantastic. Everything comes out hot and delicious. Afterward, they came over for a visit to see our new rug and the doggies. We were all worn out from the day before! (They had been at the Hideaway with Dan and Mary.)  

 Tomorrow, I’m going to breakfast with Kim,  The other half of Bob and Karen. Bob has gone to the forest with Mark to set up another tree stand.

Well I’m a day late with this Blog. We had a fun time at City Fire in The Villages last night. 

It seems everyone was in high spirits 🤪 ... lovely Wayne picking his nose! Haha! (Yeah, it was a joke.)

 Good morning. I was up early, did my chores, sorted the jewelry order, and made 96 cookies for the Scotties. ✅ 

 Mark slept in a little but then got busy putting new brakes on the golf cart. It sounded easy, but took quite a bit of time. (Lew popped over to help.) 

The power company is installing new poles and lines, upgrading our power grid. Yay. The Scotties had plenty to bark at on our GC ride today. 

It was a very busy day, overall.

Good morning! We have light rain ... coffee brewing ... eggs frying; life is great. 

Mark did a good deed by towing friend Bob’s boat to the launch ramp across the lake. 

Of course it got a bit windy! 

Things to accomplish today ... sew a cover for the kids RV window seat ... find a home for our retired rug ... bath the kids ... sort my jewelry component order ... install ROKU on the Sunroom TV ... cook dog’s food; 10 sweet potatoes & white potatoes. 

Well, the day vanished in a blink ... we had a golf cart ride with Robbie and BeeZee, sewed the cover, hooked up the ROKU and cooked the dogs’ food. That was all good ... then we sat on the front porch with wine and enjoyed the rain. Lew and Lynn arrived home from New York ... we hollered welcome across the street. 😂

 Good morning. Mark was up early today and off to the Ocala forest with his friend Bob.  He was excited there would be fresh tracks after yesterday‘s rain. (The Scotties and I slept in until seven.)

We seem to be caught up on our chores at the moment, and I have game day to enjoy this afternoon. 

Mark arrived home at noon ... there was a doe and fawn waiting for him at his tree stand. 😂 It was dark and all he could see was eyes 👀 ... spooky. They took off in a flash. 

Game Day was at Suzanne’s ... and wow, she had her lovely home decorated fully for Halloween. There were just 7 of us ... we played Balderdash for an hour; then Mexican Dominoes. 

Randy and Dawn had a blast at the Orlando vendor show. They arrived home late today with a bounty of goods.

Hey there! We were up early ... Mark to drive aunt Jane and Bo Bo to the vet’s office. Poor Jane thought Bo Bo had cancer, but after an examination and some prodding it was a water-filled cyst. Other than weakness in his back thigh, Bo Bo is fine. Whew. 

This wee boy is aunt Jane’s world. 🐾💕

The very reason I didn’t go was our Wayfair carpet delivery is scheduled between 10 and 2. Well, it’s 1:45 and no sign of the big truck yet! 🤷‍♀️ (We were up at 6 this morning moving furniture and mopping the floor.) 

Okay okay my patience paid off ...

There it is ... and we LOVE it 😊. I have 7 plants in the room! ( The fireplace has a mirror in front of it until winter arrives!) 😜

We have a light, but steady rain right now ... and it’s lovely to see! Tonight is Dancing with the Stars which Sue and Wayne talked us into watching about 15 years ago. It is a big production show ... good entertainment. So that’s our day. 

Randy and Dawn have gone to the vendor bonanza ... and are staying overnight in Orlando. Hope they have a great time.
