Good evening! It’s been a busy day at our house! I was up by 5:15 working on my EBay listings. After making 10 car charms, I had to photo and list them. There’s two I really like. 

and ...

Cool eh. 

Mark (and the Scotties) slept in til 8:15 ... then he cooked us a big breakfast. He had a few things to finish up at Marky-Mark’s and took him to pick up some things at Lowes. 

It was another rainy, dull day but not cold. Tonight’s our community Christmas party at the Elks Club. Alan Darcy is playing. 

It’s now 1030 and we are back from the Christmas party. We had a wonderful time, danced a little and enjoyed a good dinner. Marky-Mark and Lani celebrated their 2nd Anniversary with us. They really enjoyed Alan Darcy!

Tomorrow, Mark Lew and Benn are going hunting at five in the morning. So it was early to bed, and we were worn out. 🎄🎅🏼🎶

Good day! Mark was up early to clear our driveway for pressure washing ... but that got canceled due to the forecast of heavy rain. Drat.  It’s rescheduled for December 20th. 🤞 

There’s an Orlando dog show today with Scotties ... we didn’t know about it until Bonnie sent us a link. I’ll try to connect through Facebook for future updates. Meantime, Mark readied ours for their after breakfast walk ... but MinPins Cash (Kentucky accent = K-Yasssch) and Jessie had escaped their fence and were visiting with Lani and Marky-Mark’s Henri and Jake. It turned funny when Mark and neighbor Sy tried calling and coaxing then ordering the errant dogs into their own yard. Meanwhile, BeeZee and Robbie sat in our front porch, heads bobbing like they were watching a tennis match. 😊

Tonight, we are meeting Karen & Pete foru dinner at the Olive Garden. They leave for a week’s cruise tomorrow out of Fort Lauderdale. 

Dinner was good ... plenty of laughs and a good start to their vacation!

I can’t say good morning sunshine! It’s cloudy, 64° with rain in the forecast for tomorrow. Never mind, there’s plenty to be done today. I have a small Christmas tree and a few things to put around it for Marky-Mark and Lani who arrive at Calla 1 later today. Mark has gone over to put the battery charger on their boat as we know, no matter the weather, they will go boating. 

So Robbie, and Ms. BZ, got an early birthday present ... “Pug Life” harnesses for walkies. 

BeeZee is sporting the autumn edition plaid and birthday-boy Robbie has the Christmas edition. Even Mark got into the spirit with his check shirt. On the 16th our sweet boy Robbie turns 8. (Bee is 5.) 

Mark-Marky & Lani arrived about 2 o’clock, after a 22 1/2 hour drive from Toronto. They only had one or two incidents of trouble, mostly a smooth trip. We went to dinner with them tonight at Stavros, and found our favorite waiter, Connor, waiting to serve us. He was going on a job interview to Virginia, but didn’t make it due to snow.

As you can see, he was happy to see us as well. Ha ha. Dinner was great!

Good morning. I couldn’t believe it when I looked at the clock and it was 9:45. I wondered why Mark hadn’t woken me up, but he had just gotten up then too! The “poor” Scotties ... a late breakfast!

If you’ve been watching the news this week, this is funny ... MAGA 😂

Mark worked on the Mounty’s brake lights connection with the golf cart trailer. (I’m imagining it’s going to be used at Marky-Mark’s in the next week or so!) 

I wrapped more pressies, did laundry and started making more car charms after a rush on sales. 👍🏻 

We’re sending hugs for Chessie, Aurelia and Tony’s cute doggie after he had a lot of teeth removed. They’ll be making him soft food for a few days. 

RanDawn are shopping today ... and going to a Christmas party with Dan and his girlfriend Mary tomorrow night. 

Lani and Marky-Mark are leaving Toronto for their straight through drive here arriving late Thursday. Whew. They’re going to a Christmas party with us Saturday night.

Good morning! Mark had a morning in the woods and took a video of Yogi cruising past his tree stand! He’s a big one! Me? I set up the house for my Christmas Game Day. 

 I was getting myself ready when Mark came home. 

Well, I’d say that was a very successful game day as generally it ends at 4 o’clock. At 5:25 they left. Mark spent some time with Lew having a couple of beer after his shopping. 

Anita, Suzanne, Florence, Cheri, Pat, Ruth-Ann and Nancy. We played Mexican dominoes. 

We had a ton of fun, especially after I mixed up coconut rum, pineapple juice and cranberry. 🤪

Pam sent us an Omaha steaks gift pack for Christmas. I had the first steak tonight while Mark ate his venison. Wow, totally delicious! Thanks Pam! ❤️ Thumbs up 👍🏻!

Good morning. It’s a bit cloudy and windy ... a great day to finish odds ‘n ends around the house! Mark had a few chores for Marky-Mark & Lani who arrive on the 13th. 

Jeff and Lorraine fly home to Winterpeg late today where the high was -9C  ... not too bad for this time of year, but cold 🥶. When I called to wish them safe travel, Jeff and Randy were activating the Explorer’s Bluetooth handsfree connection. I mentioned Jeff needed to stay awhile longer to update RanDawn’s TV 📺. 😜 (Was I just disconnected?) 😂

Mark has gone to the post office with one of my eBay sales. Apparently he was 11th in line and none too happy about the wait. 🎄 I’m getting ready for Game Day hosting tomorrow afternoon. It’s going to be a small gang of 8 with everyone busy this time of year!

Between my cooking potatoes and sweet potatoes for the dogs and Mark cooking their beef, plus baking a cake for my game day pals, it’s been a busy day around here. Now, it’s wine:30 and a look at the day’s Christmas cards. One of these days I hope to see my friend Marlon in Henderson Nevada and Lynda in Sun City Arizona! 😜

Mark has the doggies out for a ride on the golf cart while I mind the beef in the pan.

Good morning! It’s a rainy start with a cold front moving in. “We” left The Caddy out, uncovered, so it got an unintended wash. Mark ran it across to Marky-Mark’s carport then wiped it down. The first job of the day ... ✅.

At noon, Mark and I went to run a few errands and then meet Randy, Dawn, Lorraine & Jeff at the Hideaway for a football watching party. The Miami Dolphins had a great win! The last few seconds sealed the deal. 

We came home to feed and walk the dogs and then went with the gang to Stavros for Pizzas.  Our favorite waiter Connor was there on the eve of his move to Virginia. We hope everything works out for him of course but it seems a poorly planned move. 

Back home, Mark is grooming the doggies tonight. That’s it. TV time.
