Good morning ☔️ ... wouldn’t you know the first rainy morning in awhile occurs when RanDawn are riding the bike to Daytona? Well, they’ve delayed leaving home til the rain ends about 2ish. 

It’s beautiful outside now ... sunny and warm. Mark and I puttered about setting up the house and back yard for my game day tomorrow. 

We took the kids for a ride on The Caddy and met up with Nancy and Kachina. BZ barked at Kachina and wouldn’t stop. 🙄 We had to abandon our visit and head for home. We don’t know what set her off. Robs was fine. Oh well, it was time to head for home anyways. 

Tonight’s just TV and relaxing with the doggies. Tomorrow will be a busy day. 😃

Good morning from sunny Central Florida. We awoke to 69° with a high of 82 forecast. After breakfast, Mark went out to trim a few trees in the backyard while I cleaned house. Living here in paradise I wonder how I ever had time to work. There’s always something to do or something that needs trimming! 🌳 My houseplants need water twice a week ... as does the lawn. 

Mark’s tiny garden has begun to produce. I say tiny, because it really is about the size of a coffee table. However, we get plenty of peppers and tomatoes from it. 

It won’t be long ... yummy fresh  🍅 &  🌶 

I talked to aunt Jane and invited her son Rick to join us for drinks and dinner tonight. Although she said Rick does not like to eat out, he may surprise us. Anyway, he’s invited to join Randy, Dawn and us for a Stavros night. Jane is doing very well and is excited as Rick is bringing her little dog Beau to visit today at Avante. (Rick declined.)

Tuesday is game day HERE ... so I was extra busy setting up for about 14-15 gamers. The pool table will be in use, the corn hole game, ring toss and board games. And 🍷😜 ... it’ll be a BLAST. 

Randy and Dawn arrived about 515, right after she had finished work. We watch the rest of the golf had some wine and then went to Stavros for a fabulous dinner. We always have leftovers from that place, even if we ordered just side dishes! Tomorrow, Randy and Dawn are off to Daytona Beach on the motorcycle with friends for a night.

Sue and Wayne had dinner with Carol and Jack tonight. We will get details tomorrow.

With the time change it seems rather late, 8:45 already. That’s it for tonight.

Good morning 😃 ... since Mark and I have “finished” our paint projects I thought it time to share the changes. 💫

The entry, living room and hall are “Song of Summer” yellow ... 

New Roman shades (replaced curtains and valances) allow more light into the space. ☀️

Robbie and BeeZee are catching the morning rays by the front door. (Kitchen in darkness as Mark’s still sleeping at 9:20!) 😜 Rough night?

The dining room is considerably brighter now with a lighter shade of the same color family ... “On Location” to go with the dining room upholstery. 😊

Hmmm, I’ll have to make something for above the curios ... guess it’s not really finished. 🤪

One of the window mirrors moved to reflect light from the front door. ☀️

Our huge tapestry found a wall between the closets ...

In the Sunroom, we sold a huge coffee table and 2 big end tables replacing with size appropriate tables. Yup, I painted the lift top table. 🎨 

The guest room inherited a comfy recliner and updated lamps with teal shades coordinating with art and bedspread. 

The French doors open to the Sunroom’s TV area. 

Once our new Plantation shutters are installed (end of month) we’ll post a pic. Now, onto refinishing the old lamp I bought at the garage sale! 

Yup, it needs work!

So, last evening Greg asked about bowling ... and we have a challenge to get bowling again; South Florida against Central Florida. I’m in! 🎳😜

Sue phoned while I was crafting the chandelier lamp. They’re going dancing tonight at Star Ballroom.  Tony and Aurelia will have a nice driveway spot to “camp” in Pompano too. 👍🏻 It’s much more fun to be close by for visiting. 

Randy called while Mark was cooking dinner. We had a fun time last night. He and Dawn have booked a night in Daytona Beach during Bikeweek. 

Us? We were happy having happy hour in the back patio. Mark hung his swing chair after trimming the oak tree today.

By the way, our tomatoes are on the vine. 😊 Yum yum.

Good afternoon sunshine! Mark and I just sat down after a busy morning! But, hey, we’re finished our interior fix ups. While I painted Mark ran errands. We had another load of donations for the Leesburg Humane Society shop. (Lamps, drapes, curtains and decor.) It feels good to purge and lighten the load for spring cleaning. 😊

We enjoyed happy hour on the back patio today while Mark was cooking chicken on the smoker. After dinner, we loaded up the dogs and went to Randy and Dawn‘s for a visit with Sue and Greg from Pompano. We haven’t seen them for nearly 2 years. We had Lotsa laughs and got caught up on all the activities. 

Back home, it’s now 1130. Tata till tomorrow

Good morning! It’s a chilly start to our day with a high of 70 forecast! Perfectly acceptable. 😎

I’m working on refinishing a lift-top coffee table for the Sunroom tv area. Hopefully Mark is limber enough to repaper a bath cabinet shelf (a low down job.)

Good morning y’all. We were up and away to our Eustis Farmers & Flea market first thing. It was a lovely day 😊 but with a chilly wind. 

North wind = shorts and long sleeves. Would you like some more raw peanuts Pam? As you see, we bought a few things ... Avon cream for moi, cigars, red peppers and onions for Marky. It was fun!

Now, back to business at home; painting a table for the Sunroom while Mark preps for installing Plantation shutters in the master bedroom. (I just heard Mark talking to the dogs saying “mom is a painting machine!” 🤣 Yup, that’s me. Pam says I’m losing square footage on my house with all the coats of paint. Ha ha ha. 

We just talked to RanDawn at 5 o’clock and they were recovering from some hard partying with Bob and Jill on their last Florida night. They’ve headed home to Ontario.

Good morning ☀️ and a very Happy Birthday to Wayne 🎂🎶🥂🍾. Mark and I sang to Wayne on the phone! (I see Rick M cringing!) 🎶

Heeheehee ... where’s the fire 🔥 extinguisher? 

First thing today I made tie backs for the cascading ruffle curtains in the dining room. 

Cool eh? They’re 20” each. We’re both still puttering about the house with odds and ends from our projects. 

Tonight we’re going to Oakwood Smokehouse for dinner with Lynn, Lew, Rose and Jim. Yum 😋 ribs! 

It’s 9 o’clock now ... we had a fun evening with friends and a delicious dinner! The food is always good at Oakwood’s! We had plenty of laughs. Afterward Mark and I went to visit aunt Jane at Avante in Mt. Dora. She was transferred their today. Her son Rick was there visiting too. Hopefully Jane will be home in two weeks.🤞 

Sue and Wayne are out dancing tonight at the Yacht Club ... Randy, Dawn, Bob and Jill are at the Villages dancing tonight. What an active family! 🕺 

That’s it for Mark and me ... we’re home watching the news.
