Good morning! It was quite the cold start to our day here on the Suwannee's banks. Once the sun rose it warmed quickly. (Mark was bundled up for the 8:30 doggie walk!) Robbie was still snuggled in his bed and had to be called a few times before he got up. Haha.

This campground is so very quiet! The array of bird chirps is different from home, just 115 miles away. It sure is nice to be living in the Grand Junction, albeit just 3 nights, once again. It's definitely home away from home! (Every time I think we should "upgrade" I find just how well built this Thor coach is.) Nice and solid. Egads, we've towed it across the USA several times and clear across Canada too. Minor repairs here and there except for the axle issue in 2015 (user error!)

This afternoon I'm going to an Easter wreath crafting at the pavilion, compliments of GRW. I'm betting Mark dips his fishing pole into the river. There's a marina here with pontoon boats for rent. The river is about 100 yards wide here.

Mark went for a hike while I was crafting and spotted a big black old dog hanging about the dumpsters. Tomorrow we will ask the office about him or her.

Tonight's dinner and entertainment was fun. It was "celebrity match" with contestants picked by raffle ticket. (Mark and I sold the 50/50 tickets and collected $500 ... half goes toward the veterans.) We sat with friends Karen and George from Titusville and George was picked as a contestant along with Vickie who we sat with last night. Back home with the doggies we watched TV and kept an eye on the "neighbors" big bonfire!

Tomorrow we're going for breakfast in town and to find diesel fuel.

Sue and Wayne are enjoying their Mediterranean cruise while RanDawn are in Daytona Beach. Fun times all around.

Good morning. We are off at 10:15 for our drive to Old Town, Florida. After running into traffic from three accidents on I 75, we arrive one hour late.  Our site 48 has a lovely shady canopy and plenty of space. I thought I had booked a riverfront site, but apparently not.

We enjoyed sitting outside for a couple of hours with a nice breeze. A man came by with a large Scottie dog, 16 months old, named Williston, and about 32 pounds. He was a big friendly boy.

Tonight, we had dinner in the pavilion with our group from Giant and met a nice couple from Palm Bay, Vickie and Joe. The array of food was super ... and the wine flowed. 🍷

ST. PATRICK'S DAY 2017

Good morning! It's an RV travel day for us!

We had a good travel day but a one hour delay due to three accidents on I75. 😳

We

Once we arrived at yellow jacket, we quickly found our site 48. Unfortunately, it is not on the river as I thought it would be. Rats.

We got together with the group from giant recreation world and had dinner in the pavilion. We sat with a couple we have not met before and were entertained by their many stories.

We met another Scotty in the park by the name of Williston, 32 pounds at 16 months old. Whopper!

Internet is sketchy here so I will try and post this and do more photos tomorrow.

Good morning from cold Central Florida. Can you believe it's the middle of March and we are having the coldest day this winter? It's 40°, for crying out loud!

I had such a laugh when I saw this picture. Roger is trying to do some electrical work in their media closet while Cabby (Bee's brother) helps by sitting on the back of Roger's legs and little Percy guards the doorway. Cute! (BIG help.) Haha.

After breakfast, we loaded the RV and we're ready to roll first thing tomorrow. Yay!

Sue and Wayne arrived in Venice, Italy and phoned about 1 o'clock. They were just getting on a water taxi on the Grand Canal ... so life is good.

I've been having blog publication issues. So, I am going to fiddle with this and see if I can get it to publish. If so, it might be a shorter than usual blog. Ta Ta.

Good day! It's our monthly luncheon but instead of eating out, Sharon's cooking lunch and then we're crafting or playing games!

There were 14 enjoying chicken pot pie, shrimp alfredo, Waldorf salad and lemon dream cheesecake. Afterward 8 of us made Easter wreaths and 6 played Uno. It was good fun, and everyone had something to take home. (Sharon made wreaths for those who chose to play a game.) I learned a new technique of how Sharon does deco mesh gathers and although mine did not turn out as evenly as I would've liked, I learned  a new technique. There's no shortage of talented people in the 'hood.

When I got home, Mark hooked up the truck and we pulled the RV out, ready to load up tomorrow. First thing Friday morning we are going to Olde Town, Florida to stay at Yellow Jacket with our Giant Recreation group of VIP campers.

We've reserved a riverfront site! Maybe we'll see some soaring sturgeon!  The weekend weather is forecast to be 79. Perfect.

Sue and Wayne are on the way to Italy and a Med cruise! Nice ... I'm almost envious BUT we can't do everything ... so RVing it is for us. Lynne and Les S are the trusted doggie sitters specially flown in from Canada 🇨🇦. (True story.)

RanDawn had a fun time during Makenna's 2 night visit. This weekend, they're taking the bike to Daytona to see the sights at Bike Week.

Ta Ta til tomorrow.

Good morning sunshine! We're counting on YOU to warm us up. It's windy and 54 ... Randy's first time golfing with our neighborhood guys. (What a giggle last night. Ken reminded Randy jeans aren't allowed on the golf course ... and a collared shirt is mandatory.) Well, Randy doesn't own any pants other than jeans so he's in shorts this morning! Brrr ... I suggested taking a jacket to throw over his legs in the golf cart but Dawn said he wouldn't do that, and laughed. Randy agreed ... so I guess he's going to look COOL and be cold. 😜  We hope he has a good time! (Meanwhile, Mark is fast asleep at 8:30.) I have Mz BeeZee on my lap snuggling, so no complaints here.

What's up today? Mark's working on the seawall project and I'm going to game day at Carol C's with Lynn and Pat. (Tomorrow we'll pull our RV out and load up for 3 nights away.)

Too bad I didn't get the first picture where Mark tried the "karate kid" move! It was hilarious.

Well I had a busy morning baking our low carb cookies. Now I'm making lunch and getting ready for 1 o'clock game day.  (I briefly saw Randy after he had arrived back from golfing. He was cold!)

At Carol's we played Phase 10, just 6 of us attending GD today. It was fun, but I'd toss the "Skip" cards myself. It's a slowly progressing game as it is and those cards make it tedious! Just sayin' ...

I phoned Sue but spoke with Wayne and Les. Les said he'd had a terrible flight; two hours late leaving Winnipeg for starters. Then, Les said his computer got a virus and needed work so he could open his emails. He hadn't even been outside yet.

Tonight, we're going to RELAX and catch up on TV. So, that's it for today.

Monday, March 13, 2017

Good morning from cloudy Central Florida. Apparently, the storm system is still making its way towards us and we could have some rain yet today. Meanwhile, we are starting our day with cloudy skies.

Mark left early for a one month oncologist appointment ... and all's well; come back in a year! Great news. After, it was a run to Lowes for, you guessed it, wood.

I was busy with vacuuming then making a few rear-view mirror charm hangers for sale on eBay. Then, a special one had to be made for our friend Nancy's birthday next week. It's a surprise luncheon at Puddle Jumper's.

RanDawn had a busy day with granddaughter Makenna with a visit to her favorite park and then the mall, shoe shopping. Both Dawn and Makenna had new shoes and boots. We met them for a fab dinner at IchiBan ... extra delicious tonight. Afterward, it was wine and Mexican Dominoes in the Sunroom.

Makenna had lots of help but caught on quickly! She playec through the entire 13 rounds. 👍🏻 Mark was the big winner, with Randy in second place. We had lots of fun and laughs.

BeeZee wouldn't come to Randy for the longest time tonight. (We thought it was because Makenna came in with Randy and Dawn.) Anyway, she warmed up to Randy and later played chase around the house with Makenna!

Robbie liked his bar stool so he could be table height and watch the game. What a sweet boy he is! ❤

Kissy kissy with her daddy.

It was so nice playing a game in the Sunroom with the sound of rain on the roof. It was 1030 before the rain slowed enough that they could head for home. (Tomorrow, Randy is playing golf at 7:30 with the men in our neighborhood!) Mark plans to work on the seawall and I have game day at Carol's in Scottish Highlands. Busy busy.

So, that was our day in a nutshell. 😜
