Good day, eh? It's 68F right now with a gorgeous day in store. It's Mark's LAST radiation treatment and we're ALL going along for the ride; and lunch at Eaton's Beach on Lake Weirsdale. (The doggies are staying home this time.)

Pam and me on the Eaton Beach boardwalk ... haha, take the damn picture Mark. πŸ˜‚

Mark and Donny ... 1st cousins.

Pam on the boardwalk ... wish it had been sunny!

Using the selfie stick ... lunch was great! Thanks Pam! ❤

Lookin' 😎 with fancy adirondack chairs!

Donny got adopted by the dusty black cat. Meow!

The little brats at the beach. πŸ’•

Back home, we ate Key Lime pie ... then Donny went to the gym, Pam =  sun tanning, Mark cooking a dog batch and me = blogging. Tonight we've visiting Jane and Cliff for wine.

Happy birthday to cousin Flo, a ski instructor in Japan this (again) winter.

You go girl! πŸŽ‚ 🎿 πŸ’•

So RanDawn arrived safely in Las Vegas this afternoon and Mark wondered what "travel tales" they could share. Well, we had a laugh!

(There will be another tale shortly, we're sure.) πŸ˜‚

Mark cooked his stuffed chicken, potatoes and asparagus for our dinner then we were off to visit Jane and Cliff. More tomorrow. Ta Ta.

Sunday, February 12, 2017

Everyone's sleeping! It's 7 o'clock and the dogs have been walked, the dishwasher's on and it's time for Ancient Aliens. After a big breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon in the dining room, Pam and Donny did the dishes! Don went to the gym while we tidied and prepped for an afternoon cruise.

What a gorgeous day, 75F and sunny! 😎

Trying the selfie stick ...

Through the bunny ears!

Mark and Robbie ...

We couldn't believe the number of boats in the Dead River today! It was like the Intracoastal in South Florida.

After beer and wine we all needed a siesta. Fortunately, Mark woke up in time to round us all up to meet RanDawn at Plaza Guadalajara for dinner.

It was a delicious dinner and an evening full of laughs and stories! Randy & Dawn are off to Las Vegas early tomorrow for 4 nights.

Back home, we're all relaxing and checking our phones. More tomorrow.

Saturday, February 11, 2017

Good morning. Well that was a weird night. The moon was so very bright it woke both of us! (Well likely the refried beans from last night's Mexican had something to do with that too.) I got up and let the dogs out then watched TV. Mark got up about an hour later and wondered why I was up "so early!" It was only 4 o'clock in the morning. Ha ha. I thought it was around seven. I'm telling you, the snow moon was that bright! Ha! What a wacky household. Never mind, we got our chores done and both took a nap.

Sue and Wayne went to breakfast with Rose before taking her to Fort Lauderdale airport. The picture below is from their lunch outing yesterday.

You look great Rose!

Donny arrived just as I was putting the mop away and Mark was finishing the boat. What great timing. It turns out he arrived Thursday and spent a couple nights with friends in Orlando. After an hour of catching up on news, we had burgers for lunch ... a beer and then homemade chili for dinner just before we left for the Orlando airport to pick up Pam. (Donny stayed with the dogs to watch TV.)

BeeZee treed a squirrel. It was a gorgeous afternoon!

Pam arrived on time and we had a bottle of wine ready for the drive home. (The plane was full of children going on a Disney cruise!)

Back at home, Donny and Mz Bee were getting along. Sweet. We all had more chili and wine and yakked. Lots of fun.

Tomorrow, a boat ride and dinner at Guadalajara with RanDawn.

Good morning sunshine! Well, I've stayed away from politics...but the craziness continues. Here's my latest post ... love it or hate it. πŸ™„

"You voted for Trump because Clinton was going to be in Wall Street's pocket. Trump wants to repeal Dodd-Frank and eliminate the Fiduciary Rule, letting Wall Street return to its pre-2008 ways.

You voted for Trump because of Clinton's emails. The Trump administration is running its own private email server.

You voted for Trump because you thought the Clinton Foundation was "pay for play." Trump has refused to wall off his businesses from his administration, and personally profits from payments from foreign governments.

You voted for Trump because of Clinton's role in Benghazi. Trump ordered the Yemen raid without adequate intel, and tweeted about "FAKE NEWS" while Americans died as a result of his carelessness.

You voted for Trump because Clinton didn't care about "the little guy." Trump's cabinet is full of billionaires, and he took away your health insurance so he could give them a multi-million-dollar tax break.

You voted for Trump because he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it. American consumers will pay for the wall via import tariffs.

You voted for Trump because Clinton was going to get us into a war. Trump has provoked our enemies, alienated our allies, and given ISIS a decade's worth of recruiting material.

You voted for Trump because Clinton didn't have the stamina to do the job. Trump hung up on the Australian Prime Minister during a 5pm phone call because "it was at the end of a long day and he was tired and fatigue was setting in."

You voted for Trump because foreign leaders wouldn't "respect" Clinton. Foreign leaders, both friendly and hostile, are openly mocking Trump.

You voted for Trump because Clinton lies and "he tells it like it is." Trump and his administration lie with a regularity and brazenness that can only be described as shocking.

Let's be honest about what really happened.

The reality is that you voted for Trump because you got conned. Trump is a grifter and the American people were the mark. Now that you know the score, quit insisting the con-man is on your side." πŸ€₯

So Randy arrived at 1:30 to help Mark with boat cleaning ...

and it needed a scrub! (We still must order the name decals for Mrs R B ! WTH ... why haven't I done that?)  So, while they worked on the boat I cleaned, did laundry and made cookies plus arrangements for dinner out tonight. Sweet. We got a lot done. Thank you Randy-Man! ❤

Tonight, we went to Plaza Guadalajara with Pat and Ken to meet Rose & Jim there. Dinner was excellent ...  we had fun. By 7:30 Jim was ready for home and his recliner! (He's still recovering from from December's hip replacement surgery.) Pat and Ken came in for a nightcap and to show us the Nightview app on his phone! Cool.

Skyview is his app ... this I found on Google. The brightest planet right now is Jupiter ... and a nice full moon!

So that's it for today. Expecting Donny here at 1 o'clock tomorrow and Pam arrives into Orlando about 730. FUN! 😍 Ta Ta til tomorrow.

Thursday February 9, 2017

Good morning sunshine! That's something we count on ... the sun will come out tomorrow! Last night, Mark and I ventured to RanDawn's for drinks and birthday fun. Dawn (I know Randy's not a wrapper) had gifts ready for me to open while Randy poured me "an Archie" drink of Scotch. Perfect! We sat on their screened porch and toasted to our lost friend, Timichael. After that acknowledgment, we got into Birthday fun. Mark drove and we found the Romano'sMacaroniGrill in Winter Garden, Florida easily.

Julie, Dawn, Randy and Mark in front of the fireplace at Romano's. We enjoyed calamari, crispy mozzarella, salads and entrΓ©es. It was a fantastic birthday feast. πŸŽ‰

We had this lovely evening out thanks to our friend Lew letting the kids out at 7:30. After dinner, we stopped in at Randy and Dawn's for a nightcap before heading home. What a lovely birthday celebration it was!

Today is boat cleaning day ... the semi-annual rub-a-dub-dub with Tilex and upholstery conditioner. It's 73F and windy this morning with a high of 82 later. No excuses, Mrs R B must be scrubbed! (POSTPONED til tomorrow ... it's MUGGY!)  So, we're getting our grocery shopping done instead.

Well, it was a lazier day than usual. Mark and Lew walked down the street to visit with Jim this evening. I visited with Lynn and Rose. Now it's snuggle time with the doggies. More tomorrow.

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

Good morning! 🌞We expected thunderstorms overnight but ... nothing! When I got up at five this morning, I turned on the news and checked Facebook. Unfortunately, a tragedy had been unfolding all night long. Our good friend Timichael from Oklahoma had been going through a very nasty divorce. He had married Cayann Patterson in February 2014 and he filed for divorce in July 3015. Suffice to say, I have never heard of one this bad. As it turned out, Tim shot his wife's attorney who died on the way to the hospital and then went to her (their) home and shot his wife multiple times and started the house on fire. He fled in his truck only to abandon it near a field where he killed himself. Tragic. Vengeance. Sad.

There are no winners here. Three people dead ... families destroyed. Cayann seemed lovely when the two of them visited after their honeymoon cruise in 2014. What Tim uncovered afterward was 4 aliases, an Ashley Madison (swapping) account and that he wasn't the only rich man she had married and fleeced. In the end he lost his home (after a million dollar reno), his business (she stole $358,000), his boat, his RV and his work trailer. A real black widow! He was desperate. Cayann had people of influence in her bed and Tim had amassed documents of fraud and corruption. Perhaps he mailed his files to a reporter. The Edmond Oklahoma police chief was called out on Tim's last Facebook posting and maybe something will come of all this destruction.

Tuesday, February 7, 2017

Good morning! I started my day with Ancient Aliens on Telly and BeeZee on my lap. She's such a sweetie! ❤. (We've been up 2 hours, but no sign of Mark and Robbie yet.)

"Finally" breakfast of bacon and eggs at 9:15 ... πŸ˜‚ ... then dozens of birthday wish phone calls (Rod & Shay are coming February 24 or 25th for a few days) and plenty of emails and on Facebook. I was so busy I couldn't get dressed til noonish. (As my sweet mommy would say, it's hell to be popular.) πŸ˜‚ Haha ... I had a wonderful time between phone calls and reading messages! (Thank you all! I am so lucky to have wonderful family and friends!) ❤❤❤

For lunch today, we went to a new Chinese restaurant. Although it was very good I still like our IchiBan best ... but hey, you got to check it out, right?

At 6 o'clock, we were still full from our 1 o'clock lunch.

At 4:30, we tried to go out back for a ring toss challenge during happy hour. However, it was pouring rain. So, Mark said let's go to the front porch. Well I'll be darned, there was no rain in the front yard, but it was still pouring in the backyard. Ha ha! Weird? So, Mark had a cigar while I poured wine and the doggies watched a half dozen squirrels dashing about. It was a very low-key, but enjoyable, birthday.

Wayne phoned to say happy birthday and we yakked for a bit. Rose D is visiting them for a few nights. πŸ‘πŸ»Now, the doggies are enjoying their rawhides as we watch the (dismal) news!

Tomorrow evening, Lew is dog sitting while Mark and I meet Randy and Dawn for a night out at Romano'sMacaroni Grill in the Winter Garden, Florida. It's quite pricey for us, but we have a $100 gift certificate from Giant Recreation World and RanDawn have a $50 wedding gift card! YeeHaw. We're living large!

Tonight it's salad for dinner! And more 🍷🍷😜
