Good morning. We were up and out for the Santa breakfast with Wayne & LaDonna and their granddaughter Henley. That little girl sure added some sparkle to the event.

After breakfast we took the doggies for a long walk and took a few pictures of our friends decorated rigs. (No, we didn’t decorate ... just a flashing party light out front.) 

The palm tree signs are given to VIP Camping Club members who have camped 💯 times with the group. 

After their walk we sat on the patio ... it’s 70 now. 😎

This afternoon is a hayride and entertainment, a campfire and then tonight is the big catered Christmas dinner and more entertainment. (We caught a few ZZZ’s)

Our cra-cra friend Kent served as Ed Sullivan announcing The Beatles (Nowhere Band) tonight. When he burst out of the curtain I hollered at Geri “That sounds like Kent!!!” (Geri ... THAT IS MY HUSBAND!!!) 🤣 OMG I’m a goon. 🤪 (This picture was taken after all the festivities, and Kent had touched his blackened hair with his fingertips and put two dots on his four head. Ha ha Ha.) He’s a blast!!!

The band was really good ... we sang along and danced! Super-duper evening!

Good morning sunshine! It’s another chilly start to the day ... perfect for camping fun! 

We took the dogs for a ride around this huge RV park and then came back and sat on the shady patio for a few hours. It was great seeing the RVs come in and our friends walking about. 

It was Wayne and LaDonna’s granddaughter’s 3rd birthday party! 

She loved her gift ... a modern day etch a sketch! Wow, weren’t we lucky, she loved it. We had drinks at the RV and celebrated her third birthday until 430. Then, it was time to get ready for the party at the clubhouse.  

We arrived at the party room at 5:30 and it was nearly full. Everyone was lined up for the open bar and ready to party.  we couldn’t come up with a theme for the 50s, 60s, or 70s era Christmas dinner! Perhaps we were taking it to literally as there were a dozen dressed as 1960s love child hippies! Certainly Bobby McGee was there! 🎶

It was a great party, and good food!

The band was great, all the classics were rolled one into the other. It kept everyone up dancing for hours.

Brrr ... it’s a chilly Willy morning at 45°F. Yikes, but it’ll be in the 70s today as our normal weather patterns moves back. Three days of a chill is enough for me to say we had winter. Ha ha.

We’re all hitched up and ready to go at 8:15 this morning. It’s going to be a fast and furious action packed weekend with our VIP campers. I must remember to pace myself as I have now lost 20 1/2 pounds since mid-September. Yay me. My trick is to stick to 1500 cal a day, plenty to eat, just watch the calorie intake. Mark is a snacker, and it’s hard to avoid the taco chips that come out and the tortillas and the Doritos and the popcorn etc. etc. 😂

We arrived at 10:30 ... great site beside our pals Wayne & LaDonna and across from Karen & Pete. We’ll ride with K & P to the dinner tonight. It’s a dress warm kind of party ... on the restaurant’s covered porch. There’ll be patio heaters though. 

It was in the 50’s ... outdoor patio has glass wind blockers and fireplaces. It was fabulous ... and the food, great! (I had Shrimp Pesto!) 😋

Good evening! It’s a chilly 63F so happy hour is inside! Darn we’re wimps! We used to laugh at the locals before we became them. Ha! It’s 40 Florida years for Mark and 34 for me come the new year!

Now we are Suthun 😂 Bless yer heart ❤️  I’m  not the one in charge 🙄

Tomorrow, we’re off to South Clermont RVing. We shopped and loaded up and had an easy-peasy fun day.

Good evening. Yes, it’s been a hectic day around here. Mark went to the woods this morning with Bob. It was a very chilly start to our day (40F) and he was dressed like the Michelin man. 😂

I just happened to be up at 4:30 to get this picture! Yay me. (The dogs were still in bed!)

Randy was golfing today, and did extremely well. He golfed an 86 ... it must be that the cold weather suits his golf style! Congratulations Randy! 🏌️ 💫 

Meanwhile, Dawn was baking cookies for YaYa’s. She sent me a text saying it had been five years since she made them and forgot to space them! 

Heeheehee ... well, they do look homemade! 👩‍🍳 

I wrapped a few more presents and got Matt and Tiffany’s together and ready to mail. 👍🏻

When Mark got home about 1 o’clock, we pulled the RV out to load it for our VIP camping weekend. This is the Christmas event ... Thursday is a restaurant event with dinner and games, then TWO catered dinners, a BBQ lunch and breakfast with Santa! There’s live entertainment both Friday and Saturday nights. (We’re spoiled like we really are VIPers.) 😜 If you’re EVER buying a new or used RV you know where to go ... GIANT RECREATION WORLD! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️🥰

Mark took the Christmas cards to the post office, so we are well on the way to Merry Merry. Ho ho ho. 🎅🏼

Good morning sunshine! It’s a wrap ... Christmas wrap that is. 😂 Sue left me 🎁🎁🎁 items to wrap for Randy and Dawn‘s grandchildren. I got those done ✅ and that motivated me to wrap the gifts 🎁🎁🎁 I’ve bought for them. Now with those finished I bought gifts for Mary‘s (other) three! More wrapping ... 🎁🎁🎁

Matt, Tiffany and the girls Christmas gifts are sorted out and wrapped 🎁🎁🎁 ... I’m still waiting on a Wednesday delivery to finish up their package. 😅 

Christmas 🎄 cards have been written and are ready for the post office. Mark’s handling stamping the International cards today ... plus mailing niece Christine’s wedding gift. 🎁

While all this was going on, our well pressure tank sprung a leak! What the heck! Lew knows a guy ... and he’s on the way over. 🤪  (I wonder if there’s a bird dog fee tucked into that $600 estimate.) 🤔

Mark arrived back two hours later having dropped off donations for our humane society, post office chores, banking ... and cigar shopping. 😂

It’s the 🎶 hap-happiest time of the year 🎶 Ca-ching.

Hey y’all. Let’s make this last month in this decade joyous and fun! Cheers to December fun. 

It’s a bright and beautiful start to our day here in Central Florida. (There’s a cold front coming tomorrow ... with a low about 40!) But today ... 84F.  

It was a shopping day ... Mark for groceries and I did the what-not shopping. Mark has been cleaning out the overgrown plants at the back of the shed down to the water. It’s amazing how quickly things grow here in Florida. 

Gee, there is a shed! It was overgrown with Mexican petunias and shrimp plants! The shrimp plants had seeded themselves from a potted plant we brought with us from Boca, 19 years ago. Some plants just grow and others you baby and nothing improves them! What the heck. Mark filled six trash cans full of the plants he pulled out! 

We put the TV on and watched football aka took a nap and relaxed for an hour. 

The Scotties joined us for supper and dominoes at Randy & Dawn‘s. Dinner was great with a beautifully set table. After eating too much, we got into the game. We had a fun time, as always. Mark had a score in the 60’s until the last 2 rounds. He was the overall winner!

It was a super Sunday!
