Hey there! We were up early ... Mark to drive aunt Jane and Bo Bo to the vet’s office. Poor Jane thought Bo Bo had cancer, but after an examination and some prodding it was a water-filled cyst. Other than weakness in his back thigh, Bo Bo is fine. Whew. 

This wee boy is aunt Jane’s world. 🐾💕

The very reason I didn’t go was our Wayfair carpet delivery is scheduled between 10 and 2. Well, it’s 1:45 and no sign of the big truck yet! 🤷‍♀️ (We were up at 6 this morning moving furniture and mopping the floor.) 

Okay okay my patience paid off ...

There it is ... and we LOVE it 😊. I have 7 plants in the room! ( The fireplace has a mirror in front of it until winter arrives!) 😜

We have a light, but steady rain right now ... and it’s lovely to see! Tonight is Dancing with the Stars which Sue and Wayne talked us into watching about 15 years ago. It is a big production show ... good entertainment. So that’s our day. 

Randy and Dawn have gone to the vendor bonanza ... and are staying overnight in Orlando. Hope they have a great time.

Good evening! We were up and on the road by 10:30 despite a tad of a hangover! 

Last night was dinner sponsored by GRW in the Grand Hall. It was beautifully decorated. Dinner wasn’t my favorite, BBQ chicken, corn bread, green beans and macaroni. 🤷‍♀️ Nevertheless, we had a fun evening. The DJ was highly impressed with her own music choices and danced along. Haha. It was all entertaining.

After dinner, we went back to our patio and three of them smoked cigars. It was a night of story sharing and laughs! 

Wayne and LaDonna went “to look at Corgis” today and adopted two! They love the breed and met someone at the horse show whose mother had two older pups looking for a good home. 

Jack and Briscoe ... yeah, they’re in love with the pups already! 

After unloading, laundry and restocking, we backed the RV into it’s port. That’s the quickest we’ve ever tidied up. 

Tomorrow, Mark’s taking aunt Jane and her dog BoBo to the vet. BoBo has a lump on his side! We sure hope he’s okay. 

I’m going to stay home as we have a new carpet being delivered between 10 - 2. 

It’s a 10 x 13 hand-tufted area rug. 

Dawn called tonight. Randy has finally turned the corner on this flu bug after 2 weeks and ate an omelette this morning. He’s been so weak. Tomorrow they have an event with Dan and Mary  ...  a free hotel stay and food vendor show. Both Dawn and I cautioned Randy that he not go; but, as he said, “everything’s free!” 🙄🤣

That’s it ... wine:30 and TV time.

What a great day! We started with a pancake breakfast under the trees by the hall. Wayne and LaDonna invited us for a golf cart ride about to see the horses. It’s 400 acres so we were all about for a hour plus. In the back are we came across Gypsy Vanner horses in a shady corral. LaDonna and I got off the cart to take a picture when the owner came over and invited us in to meet the horses! Wow, what a treat. 

We met Crown Royal aka Whiskey ... a gentle beauty!

Then Kissy came over for a visit.

And got a real kiss. 😍

Kandee, the owner of Big Sexy Ranch is delightful. She called over two more of her Gypsy Vanner horses! 

Oh they are so gentle. What a great experience.

Good morning! We sat on the patio with our coffee and enjoyed watching the RV walkers with their dogs. Several horse trailers pulled in ... most went to the mares barn; just one to the stallions barn. There were a few horses pulling buggies about. We felt like we were living in a more genteel time.

After breakfast of eggs, asparagus and tomato, we took a drive and left the kids to cat-nap. They’re loving all the smells about the place.

This reminded me of a board game I played with Nan, called Steeplechase. 

We found a few ‘sprucing up the house’ treasures at Home Goods ... a carved pelican wood-wind for our outside Tiki  bar, a blown-glass globe with sand and shells for the SunRoom table and a Mother-of-Pearl inlaid hinged box for our TV remotes! (Plus a gift for Karen’s birthday.)  Now Mark has run into the local Publix for a bag of ice and a few grocery items.  Whatta great time!

 This afternoon, we’ll sit and watch the horses arrive for the big show tomorrow. 200 horses are registered in the event!  Oh yeah, and our friends Brenda and Mark are here at the campground too. 👍🏻

Tonight’s dinner was prepped by each RVer and wrapped in foil. Potato slices topped by asparagus and then cut up steak. Pete cooked all the foil packages ... and dinner was pretty good. (LaDonna reached across the table and got icing on her arm.)

It looked like a fresh tattoo. We had such a laugh!

After, we sat around a campfire and chatted. It was a good evening!

Good morning sunshine! We’re off for a weekend of VIP fun and horsing around! (We we’re attempting to enter through the RV Gate off Griffin Avenue ... but, we actually came into the car entrance on Marion!) 🙄 A kindly staff member took us through the maze to our site. 

Grand Oaks Resort is perfectly maintained, every blade of grass. There’s a Hunt Club show on Saturday and the place will be full. Meanwhile, there are 38 GRW rigs here for our VIP Club. 

We hosted happy hour for friends Karen, Pete, LaDonna and Wayne at 5 o’clock then carried on to The Bistro for dinner. (It was good!)

Mark had a cigar with our nightcap. That’s a crescent moon but doesn’t look it here. 

Tomorrow, there’s a cookout!

 Good morning. I mentioned a few days ago that Sue and Wayne have professional help assimilating the two new doggies into their household. They have now 4 doggos ... plus 2 hoomans = a six-pack. Cute eh?  Well, here’s a story following the second training session  

Poor Julius was caught short sometime during the night and made it to the white carpet 💩.  Then, he stepped in it going back to his bed. Next up was Wayne who walked right through it ... icky toes! 🤣 So, while Sue was cleaning the upstairs carpet, either Mimi or Chiki deposited a 💩 downstairs!  So, I guess the as simulation is coming along just fine.  🐾💕 

 At our house, Mark is in the woods with his friend Bob while I am cooking the dogs food for our weekend at the horse ranch.   It’s going to be very exciting for the kids as there are going to be some amazing smells around the area. Yeah, more 💩 but horse poop. Ha! 

This is our “little” queen palm that Mark started from a seed from our Boca Raton tree. (He trimmed all the queen palms yesterday ... a huge job.)

And this tall Norfolk Pine was a wee 12” decorated Christmas tree from Walgreens! It was in our RV in Ft. Lauderdale til I planted it in 2010. 

Kinda big for decorating it now. Haha. 

Tomorrow morning we’re 🎶 On the Road Again 🎶 ... close to home ... and with our VIP club peeps. (Unfortunately I’m missing our annual ‘Witches or Bitches’ YaYa’s at Nancy’s.)

Good early morning!  We were up early and out the door taking our rig to Giant Recreation World for its annual warranty forever service.  Since it was just going to be a few hours work, we decided to hang about and eat donuts and popcorn at the dealership. Ha ha.  We had Robbie and BeeZee with us, so they had a piece of donut and plenty of popcorn too.  One of our friends there, Dennis, is the general manager. Dennis is highly allergic to dogs so Mark, being Mark, chased Dennis with our dogs telling him they wanted to lick his face.  It was pretty funny. BeeZee was all for it and barked at poor Dennis.  Pretty much everyone else at the dealership came over to see the dogs and give them scratches and treats.

 We took a drive to downtown Winter Garden and were quite impressed. It’s a beautiful old town with gorgeous flowers.  Even their wisteria was in beautiful bloom! (Why isn’t ours?)

 After driving around the town we went to a local park on Lake Apopka and walked the dogs. 

The lake is big ... maybe 9-10 miles across.  Randy and Dawn live just off the Apopka Canal.  There is a lock for boat traffic.   All in all, it was a very cool area.  (GRW is practically around the corner, yet we had never checked out the downtown. ) 🤷‍♀️

 Our rig was finished on time and we were home, backed into the driveway by 1230. 

 Randy, all on his own, went to the doctor again. Now we know he is really sick! 😜  He said Dawn had mentioned it, but he went on his own. Apparently, he now has an antibiotic drip as his oxygen level was a bit low. Feel better Randy!  Dawn is off work tomorrow, so he will have sweet company. She may have to do the onion in her socks cure again. Randy said she is feeling a bit rough today. 

 I have had 2 eBay sales this week. Neither one big, but at least a couple of sales.  Mark has gone to the post office and grocery shopping while I catch up on paperwork.  

Now ... it’s time for OITNB bitches. 😂
