Good morning! I started my day with Ancient Aliens on Telly and BeeZee on my lap. She's such a sweetie! ❤. (We've been up 2 hours, but no sign of Mark and Robbie yet.)

"Finally" breakfast of bacon and eggs at 9:15 ... 😂 ... then dozens of birthday wish phone calls (Rod & Shay are coming February 24 or 25th for a few days) and plenty of emails and on Facebook. I was so busy I couldn't get dressed til noonish. (As my sweet mommy would say, it's hell to be popular.) 😂 Haha ... I had a wonderful time between phone calls and reading messages! (Thank you all! I am so lucky to have wonderful family and friends!) ❤❤❤

For lunch today, we went to a new Chinese restaurant. Although it was very good I still like our IchiBan best ... but hey, you got to check it out, right?

At 6 o'clock, we were still full from our 1 o'clock lunch.

At 4:30, we tried to go out back for a ring toss challenge during happy hour. However, it was pouring rain. So, Mark said let's go to the front porch. Well I'll be darned, there was no rain in the front yard, but it was still pouring in the backyard. Ha ha! Weird? So, Mark had a cigar while I poured wine and the doggies watched a half dozen squirrels dashing about. It was a very low-key, but enjoyable, birthday.

Wayne phoned to say happy birthday and we yakked for a bit. Rose D is visiting them for a few nights. 👍🏻Now, the doggies are enjoying their rawhides as we watch the (dismal) news!

Tomorrow evening, Lew is dog sitting while Mark and I meet Randy and Dawn for a night out at Romano'sMacaroni Grill in the Winter Garden, Florida. It's quite pricey for us, but we have a $100 gift certificate from Giant Recreation World and RanDawn have a $50 wedding gift card! YeeHaw. We're living large!

Tonight it's salad for dinner! And more 🍷🍷😜

Good morning sunshine? Are you amid that Pea soup fog?

What a Super Bowl football game that was, eh! Kept you guessing right to the last second. Congratulations to the patriots for the big comeback. Alas, Randy lost a bet. Waa waaa.

So, what's up for today you wonder? Mark just left for the post office with a larger than usual eBay sale. I sold a saltwater pearl necklace to a person in Mississippi. Yay! Then, he is off to his appointment in theVillages.  This is the last full week of radiation for him!

This afternoon, we are taking Mr. Robbie to the vet. He was in distress yesterday (likely his anal glands) and couldn't settle down. I gave him a baby aspirin before bedtime and snuggled til he calmed down and slept. Of course, then I didn't sleep!

My birthday present arrived on Saturday. Here is Mz BeeZee showing it off ...

Nice fangs! It's a hand-tufted Scottie dog rug and our two brats are loving it. 🐾💕🐾🙄

Yes, it was Robbie's anal glands. Without going into stinky details, the vet accomplished what we couldn't. Ka-Ching 💵

Waiting at our vet's office. (Bee went for support and was trying to be invisible here.) 💕 Robbie immediately felt better! Yay.

This afternoon I vacuumed and cleaned my craft room and set it up as a bedroom for (cousin) Donny's visit. It didn't take long ... I just had to get started! The new Intex bed seems great. It took about 5 minutes to self-inflate and is about 2' high. Cool.

Well it's TV time ... Ta Ta til tomorrow.

Sunday, February 5, 2017

Good morning. It's another cloudy day here in Central Florida. What's with that? Never mind, I have two Scottie dogs snuggled up on my lap to keep me cozy. It's now 930 and Mark is still sound asleep.

Fast forward to 1230 ... Mark has a pot of chili cooking ... the Super Bowl game is on at 6:30 tonight. It's going to be another feast ... chili and chocolate cake. Perhaps a little explosive, LOL?

Lady Gaga is performing for the halftime show ... and then there's the fun ads to watch (even if you're not a huge football fan!)

Chores done ... it's relax:30  We walked to Rose & Jim's with a few magazines. Jim is still recovering from December's hip replacement. He had a setback last month when it "popped" out and he fell but seems to be doing better now. Hope we'll be out to dinner with them soon!

After a big ol' bowl of chili we sat done to watch! Go Falcons ... although my gut says the Patriots are the better team. Randy has the Patriots winning by 12 points on a pool at the Hideaway. Since Dawn's at a mandatory meeting til 7 they'll be home to watch.

BTW RanDawn made the cover of Rebel Rider magazine!

Cute! What love birds! Vrooooom!

Sue and Wayne are home watching football with friends Bruce and Heather visiting from Canada. Here's Heather with Julius!

Meanwhile in T-Town, Percy is rooting for the Falcons!

Sweet ol' Percy-Man! ❤🐾

WHAT A GAME! Patriot's win! Wha-wa-waaa.

Good morning. The doggies and I were up by 6 and outside in the cool air. Mark is having a sleep in today!

It's game night here so Marky went for grocery while I vacuumed and prepped the bar and shortened the "Yuge" dining table to half its size. Now all 7 will be able to reach the hub with dominoes.

Mark surprised me with a birthday cake and candles! Fun! ❤ (The cake was so delicious!)

We had such fun playing dominoes ... me, Nancy & Pat. Along with dominoes there was much singing and a little dancing. Haha. Ken hadn't played before and caught on quickly!  (He liked it!)

Randy and Dawn came on the motorcycle ... and it was chilly for them going home at midnight! (Dawn took many mini-vacations during the game ... is it my turn already???) 😂. She had a good idea for next PARTAY night ... writing down the funny saying during the evening and reading them aloud later. Haha. There were some dandies tonight.

By 2 we were finally off to bed.  What a fun night.

Good morning. Robbie, BeeZee and I rode with Mark to his appointment in The Villages. It's a gorgeous sunny day. After today, he has six more!

Last evening, Sue and Wayne attended the National Save the Sea Turtle 40th annual waterway cleanup party at Coral Ridge Yacht Club.

It was a beautiful evening!

Unfortunately, one their staff , Eileen, tripped on the stairs and is in hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery!

Last Monday was Carol's Birthday!

Sue bought her a Yuge cake that fed 75 people! (I hope Mark gets me a chocolate one next week! 😂). So happy belated birthday Carol! 🎂🍷💕

The raid in Yemen yielded information that was available online in 2007! A navy seal was killed, 14 civilians dead, a helicopter destroyed and 4 seals injured. WTF. Way to go commander in chief!

We met Dawn and Randy at Guadalajara for dinner tonight. It was lots of fun, good food and good drinks! The doggies were happy to see us come home with tasty tortillas for them. (Don't worry, they only got a couple of bits each!)

All in all, it was a good Friday. 👍🏻

Thursday, February 2, 2017

Oh how I looked forward to Groundhog Day growing up in Canada! There was the slimmest chance the groundhog would not see his shadow, but of course he did. Alas, we lived in "Sunny Manitoba!" By the 2nd of February, every Winnipegger was sick and tired of cold and snow. Now, I don't mind Groundhog Day so much.

😜 🏝

Mark had his appointment in The Villages while I handled paperwork and phone calls. My phone calls basically got me nowhere, but had to be done! Alas. Randy was feeling better and popped over for coffee along with a bag of fresh black licorice for Mark and me. Actually, he had been feeling well enough on Tuesday that he went golfing and, this time didn't have to buy lunch for everyone. You see, low score buys lunch. Haha. Golf lessons coming up?

Since cutting down a "driveway" tree 2 years ago, I've been fretting the sun damaging the front of our RV. Yes, it's in the port but gets the morning sun now. So, Mark found a piece of shade cloth we'd used years past in Fort Lauderdale and adapted it onto the RVport frame. Presto - shade-o!

Tonight was a rousing game of fetch with the big (soft) ball that Sue got the kids for Christmas! It's very tossable and doesn't get caught under the furniture! Well, after 10 minutes I was puffing. LOL Now it's brushing night and Mz BeeZee is hiding while Robbie gets done.

Tomorrow night, we're meeting Randy and Dawn at Guadalajara for dinner! 🌮🍹

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

Good morning! Cousin Miles (Australia) began a new chapter having been accepted into Perth Modern School (1911) for high functioning individuals. Congratulations! He takes the train to and fro daily.

Connie with Miles in school uniform ... with the Dalek in background.

And, now back to we regularly functioning folks. Ha! Mark went to his appointment in the Villages while I continued on the dining room ceiling light project. It's funny, Randy said that the hip that is his strongest is the first replacement he had. The knee that is strongest in me is the first replacement I had. Coincidence? I don't know, but for years later, I still get swelling in my left knee when I stand for more than a few minutes. It's weird. Both joints have the same replacement, done by the same doctor, and your six weeks apart. What's with that? Anyway, my light project is finished! It looks so gorgeous I think we will play cards in the dining room on Saturday night.

This afternoon, Mark wants to go by boat for lunch. I know he has his heart set on going to crazy gators, but that isn't a place where the doggies are invited. We shall see.

Yes ... Robbie and BeeZee came along for a nice ride, followed by lunch at Palm Gardens.

Robbie ...

BeeZee waiting for a French fry.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to dear Bonnie & Roger in T-Town. 🍾🥂 Here they are celebrating at Kilkenny's.

That's it for today! 👍🏻
