 Good morning. It was a bit chilly, in the 60s when we woke up this morning. We got ready and were on the road  with the K's by 915. 

The roads have been pretty good, We stopped at the South Carolina welcome center ... where Mark mooched a cup of coffee from Sue while Wayne was making business calls. LOL.

There were good roads from I95 to US17 ... then some heavy tree overgrowth coming in on the local roads. Although we had some scratches in our roof, there was no damage. Wayne and Susan may have had more tree action. 😳

The campsite at James Park is lovely. Sue and Wayne arrived for happy hour just after 4 o'clock then Randy and Dawn arrived just after 5 o'clock. Everything seems to be organized for their elopement Wednesday. Bob and Jill, Laurie and Lorn arrive tonight ... and will meet them at their hotel. Drat. We are going to miss one heck of a party tonight.

 

Auntie Sue and Mz BeeZee ... hanging out for at least an hour together!

Sue and Wayne are going out to dinner while Mark and I are going to enjoy a bonfire and drinks tonight.

Good morning! It was a lovely 64F when we said our goodbyes and started for South Carolina! 

Randy and Dawn left home at 8ish ... Sue and Wayne left their home at 9 ... and stopped for coffee 10 minutes later. 😂

 

Wayne brought their coach at home for loading. 

It's a good travel day ... 80 at 12:30. We stopped for lunch at an I-4 rest area and met up with a couple we saw at the rally. 

 

Dawn and Randy ... no wedding nerves here!

 

They found the Crab Shack on Folly Beach! Yummy. 

 

RanDawn are very happy with their hotel choice! It looks nice! I like the coordinating yellow golf cart!

Unfortunately, a fatal accident on I95 northbound MM277 stopped traffic for 2 hours. Sue and Wayne nearly caught up with us. Hurricane Matthew caused a lot of tree damage along the highway. Many miles of crews were cleaning up the tree debris from last month's hurricane. It may have been a contributing factor of the accident. Sad. 

Rolling along again, Robbie is riding high. 

 

At 3:45 we had 10 miles to go ... cutting it close for happy hour. 

The KOA at Exit 1 on I-95 is very nice! We were accompanied to our site ... something unusual nowadays. Sue and Wayne pulled in about 20 minutes later and came over for a visit. 

 

It's 64 here! The dogs were happy to see their aunt and uncle. We decided it would be an early night. Tomorrow, we'll have about a 4 hour drive to Charleston. Ta Ta.

Good morning. Well, I'm actually writing this on Sunday morning. Last night, I publish the blog and it disappeared into never never land. Hopefully it will reappear later today as often happens with this new app. 

Basically, we had a terrific day with taking the dogs on the golf cart and lunch at the pavilion and dinner last night with more music and entertainment and prizes.

So, don't be alarmed that yesterday's post is missing or call me, as I am on the road today. The blog I actually wrote will probably turn up later and then I will repost it.

Good morning! We were up early and at breakfast for 8 am at Woodland Hall. Surprisingly, a lot of people were there already! There were more than a few hangovers in the group. Although we didn't sign up for it, there's a golf day going on for $40 which includes breakfast, lunch, two draft beer or sodas. It seems "cheap" to me. Anyway, we're relaxing with the doggies until 1ish when there's shenanigans at the Pavilion with beer and wine til 3 o'clock. The corn hole contest continues ... plus horse shoes, shuffleboard, bocce ball and archery. Fun fun fun. Maybe there'll be time for the pool or hot tub before 11 tonight. 

At 5, there's the daily cocktails ... dinner at 6:30 ... show at 8ish ... then Texas Hold'em at 9:30. Believe me, we'll be in bed "earlier" than last night ... or not. 

 

It's now after 11 o'clock and we had a great time! Firstly, a sweet grandma looking lady was a powerhouse at the dunk tank! She dunked 7 of 9 throws! 

She was SO ACCURATE that spectators bought her balls to throw. There was a lot of cheering in the crowd. 

We met up with our friends Liz and Dexter who we met at the March gathering at Suwannee. They had an adventure on their trip to Seattle and apparently hit a wall taking out the back quarter of their RV, including the back window. They made their own repairs with duct tape and carried on! Way to go!  There rig eventually spent three months at Giant being repaired, but at no cost to them. It apparently took some time to order each part from the manufacture. LOL

Tonight, we sat with Mitsy and Richard, Dan and Patti, another Dan and Patti and Lenny and Monica. Egad, we'll never remember them all next time!

Dinner was great. Salad, Pork loin, sweet potatoes and vegetables with an apple fritter for dessert. The drinks were flowing and at our table they were enjoying cosmopolitans. Mark and I were strictly on wine.

A dinner show was very good. The Edwards twins are masters at celebrity voices and appearances. I'm not sure how they got into some of the slinky costumes, but here is Cher.

 

That's skimpy! Some of the celebrities they did were Celine Dion, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Sonny and Cher, Neil Diamond and others. It was a great evening.

Back home, the dogs were fine and we're enjoying TV themselves.

Tomorrow, we're going to miss breakfast as it's just too much. LOL Ta Ta.

Good morning. What a great sleep we all had. I was first up and found the doggies still snuggled in their beds. (I think we need a new mattress at home. The RV's king bed is more comfortable.) 

Mark made eggs and sausages while I tidied the RV. Then, we took the GC and went RV "shopping."  There were many lovely rigs offered ... but they're all "trade-offs" we're not ready to accept. I'd like to look at Grand Design's Momentum 376TH at Lazydays ... but that'll have to be another trip. We saw some very nice towables; but "momma" doesn't want smaller. 😬

At 2 o'clock we're in the Cornhole Toss tourney ... then at 5 o'clock ... it's cocktails (open bar til 10 o'clock) 🎶🎤🎉🍸🎶 Dinner at 6:30 then dancing to the Z Street Swing Band. (Somewhere in there the Scotties will want a ride on the cart ... dinner and a walkie. Busy busy!

Well, we lost the corn toss tournament 21 to 11, but at least we got a few points. It's a tougher game than it looks. Ha ha. I think someone may be getting one for Christmas. 

We took the doggies for a cart ride for an hour before we got ready to go out this evening. Some little girl dog forgot that she was treated well and tore up something else while we were out. Little brat. Yes, we knew it was her ... Robbie told me so. 

 

Dinner was very good ... chicken stuffed with brie cheese and grapes! The Z Street Band was great ... many up dancing ... including us for 1 dance! 

Back home, we sat on the patio with the doggies. It's a beautiful evening.

Good morning. I was so excited I was up at four in the morning, along with BZ. Eventually, we both went back to bed hoping that Mark would wake up early. Alas, he slept until 730. Ha ha

 

It's now nearly 930 and we are about to get on the road. BeeZee's SO excited she wanted to get going on our trip. Robbie knows the routine ... walk first ... then travel. 

We arrived at 12:30 and get this, we're in the same site as last year! Dejavu. After picking up our golf cart we putted around and got our rally 👚s ... then poked about. We came home and picked up the kids ... 

 

Haha ... here's another use for a tractor. We were enjoying our ride until a crazy lady with three yapping Yorkshire terrier's came up behind us on her golf cart. She was calling after us "I like your hair!" Mark said thank you but she kept following us wherever we went. Haha. We eventually ditched the crazy Yorkie lady. 

After the dogs had their dinner, we went to the boondocks bar at the pool for drinks and salad.

 

It's a huge pool with plenty of tanning chairs for everyone who dares. We had a couple of drinks, jalapeño poppers, Caesar salad and tuna salad for dinner. There's a comedy show at Woodland Hall at 8 o'clock. 

When we arrived home to feed the dogs, we discovered that there had been a murder of Robbie's favorite Moosie! 

 

It looks like Miss BeeZee was very busy! Robbie had such a stern look on his face ... and Beez ears were pinned against her head. LOL. YES, we knew who the culprit was! Never mind, they got their chicken and croutons treats. 

So ... never a pair to miss a PARTAY, we refreshed our drinks and took our trusty (we hope) cart over to Woodland Hall. Jeff Norris was our entertainer! 

 

His impersonations were over the top funny. Jeff has appeared on many TV shows ... which may be why I said he looked familiar. We hadn't laughed like that, ever. 

Tomorrow, we are signed up for the corn hole tournament at 2 o'clock. I've never played, but I know Mark is a good tosser! 🌽 hole. 

We're watching and hoping for the Cubs tonight in the final game of the World Series. Ta Ta til tomorrow.

Happy Birthday wishes for Susie Moe ... 

 

It's been awhile since you've heard that! Mom and dad's friend Rocky Hilton always called you Susie Moe. 💕

I awoke parched from drinking wine 🍷 last evening and got 2 glasses of ice water down the hatch before my DSO.  Amazing 😉! 

Did you watch Leonardo DiCaprio's "Before the Flood" last night? It was well done. Not surprisingly, it's been a political fight with many deniers in the GOP side.

Scary, eh? This is happening with less than 1 degree temperature rise ... yet 4 degrees is forecast. 

 

Greenland's crevasses are pouring melt water into the ocean ... 30' of ice depth was lost in the past 5 years! 

 

The Marshall Islands will be underwater completely in 20 years! 

It's time for ALL to urge, no VOTE for candidates who understand Climate Change. There are solutions ... and we need the new industries. Tesla has great ideas with their Gigafactories for worldwide power. Check it out; Before the Flood.
