Good early morning! It’s been a heartburn night for me after jalapeÃąos on my pizza. They sure tasted good. ð It’s been a nice change of pace to be RVing again and to make new friends. Had the weather been warmer we’d have been poolside. Anyway, we did enjoy happy hour at 3:40 with Carol and Rick Johnson, Jane and Dave, Trish and Bart, Karin and Ray plus LaDonna and Wayne. The whole group migrated to our campsite at 7:30 for a bonfire.
So, this morning we were all packed up and ready to go about 10 o’clock when the awning wouldn’t come in. That probably means we have to manually crank it, but Mark does not have a drill motor with him. And, the campground is virtually empty. So I will make a call to the main office and see what help we can get.
Well, we never did hear back from the office, so screw their support. Ha ha. Anyway I did walk around and find a neighbor who had a drill and Mark had the correct fit, so between them we got the ruddy awning back in. So, we were on our way home probably an hour delayed. Once home, it was the usual hubbub of emptying the rig, doing the laundry and such.
Mark did some thinking and figures we need to replace the batteries in the rig. That will very likely fix the problem with the awning. Why did he think that, because when he went to withdraw the jacks, they were very sluggish. Batteries don’t last long in Florida.
We settled in and watched American Idol last night. It was most enjoyable as it was being filmed in Hawaii. That’s it for today.
