After doing the grocery shopping, I put things away, did laundry and my usual chores. Mark decided it was a good day to do some canal brush clearing with the barge.
Well done! This was overgrowth from the entranceway to the main canal by Jack and Linda‘s house. Tomorrow, or whenever he gets a second wind, he will clean more around Marcy and Tom‘s place. You see, hunkering down means different things to different people.
Our friend Rick M had his last IV antibiotic treatment at Vernon hospital today. We wish him a speedy recovery from a nasty infection. The next ten days will be much like the previous 10 ... antibiotics and his leg elevated for 20 hours a day!
It was rather exciting this evening as shingles were delivered to Marky-Mark’s house across the street. We have been looking at nasty shingles for a number of years! So yeah, we’re ready for a new view!
Woot woot!
Lynn called that Ozzie had a piece of glass in his foot. We ran over with a magnifying glass and tweezers. He was a very good boy and lay down and let us look at it. Mark pulled something out from between his paw pads but we weren’t sure if it was glass. Whatever it was, he was walking fine after that. Now we’re back home and ready for a bit of TV.
Ta ta til tomorrow.
