Good evening! It’s been a busy day around our house. We were up and out to run errands at 9 o’clock and not home until nearly 1. We did go to see aunt Jane at Waterman hospital. She was alert and looking good. She hopes to be home on Wednesday, or at least moved to a rehab facility. We were very concerned about her little dog, but the neighbors are pitching in walking and feeding him. The poor guy must be bewildered having just lost Cliff last November! 😒 Apparently Beau was sleeping on the bed with Jane. She got up for the bathroom during the night, he got excited, jumped off the bed and she fell on him. The little dog wasn’t injured, but Jane broke her hip. Her daughter Cathy had insisted that Jane buy an alert in case of a fall. Unfortunately, it was in a drawer and she took 20 minutes to crawl to get her phone and call for help. Jane said she caught hell from her daughter for that. Anyway, like we said, she looked very good and was alert, with no pain. Her son arrives tomorrow night to take care of the dog.

Mark and I had many errands to run, including buying paint at Home Depot. We had to pop into Dollar Tree for a couple of items and I found aquamarine colored wine glasses. I’ve been looking for these for more than a year. Imagine my delight when they had seven of them. Ca-Ching! πŸ˜› At Walmart I found some decorative dried flowers, just what I was looking for with the new decor. 😁 What a great day of odds and ends shopping it was.

At 2 o’clock I began painting, cutting in the dining room ceiling and along the wainscoting. By 4:30 I was ready for happy hour on the front porch. Mark will roll the walls after dinner! (2nd coat tomorrow!)

Wine for Marky and me, homemade frosty paws for Robbie and BeeZee. Yummy.

Tony and Aurelia sent pictures of their beautiful property covered with a fresh layer of (late in the season) snow.

Gorgeous to look at ... but I know they’re looking forward to scenes like ...

Winter in Florida! 😎
