Brrr ... 52F when I stepped outside with Bee & Robs. It felt like fall. 🍁 It’s perfect weather for our fish fry. We have pickerel and perch from Lake of the Woods ... plus catfish and shrimp to round out the platters.

BeeZee and Robbie relaxing after dinner with Dawn & Randy. We watched Mistle Tones. 🎢

Has there been anything nice in the news this month? Serial killer loose in Tampa, nut job escaped Hawaii mental hospital and flew to San Jose ... all the signals of another disaster, a kook shot up a neighborhood in Sacramento; just the first 2 minutes of GMA. It’s enough to make one stay in bed under the covers. At yesterday’s game day several of the gals talked about giving up on newspapers and the watching of news; it’s so distressing. No one talked about politics but it was the elephant in the room ... an Alabama politician charged with molesting young girls ... Wiki-leaks puppeted by Russian spies, a president cozying up to dictators, and that’s with 5 minutes of “news!”

Dinner was a challenge to get onto the table ... Mark was frying fish on the counter in the craft room (garage?) while I tossed shrimp and onion rings. RanDawn brought Red Lobster’s cheddar bay biscuits ... delicious! We had a good meal and fun with Lynn & Lew, Rose & Jim, Dawn & Randy.

Ha! We’re trying not to giggle while Mark takes a panoramic photo. Where IS my selfie stick? Likely it’s in the RV.

While this was going on at our house Sue & Wayne went to the yacht club for dinner and dancing. They sat with a retired doctor and his wife and enjoyed themselves. When I hear “Yacht Club” I get nostalgic for the RMYC!

There’s a big deck nowadays with musical entertainment and is open to the public! What a great place to enjoy a dinner and drinks. (This picture was taken in early September.)

Well that’s it for tonight. Tomorrow morning is dentist appointments for us and then we’re going out to dinner tomorrow night with Randy and Dawn. They have a gift certificate for 1884 in Eustis. $$$ 😜
