Good morning sunshine! We’re bustling around with checking the batteries and tires on the RV for tomorrow’s travels.

Mark’s cousins Don, Barbara and Kathy arrive for a week’s visit with Jane and Cliff. We’ll pop in for a quick visit this afternoon.

Lew ‘n Lynn were back home when we drove in from our visit. Mark phoned to say welcome home and heard that Lew was on his way to Home Depot for a new electrical box. Apparently there are new water system was plugged into an outlet that wasn’t working. Want whomp wall. (Heeheehee ... that was Siri’s version of Wha waa waaaa!) there’s always something when you first arrive home from holidays.

Unfortunately, poor Cliff looks gaunt having lost about 75 pounds in the past year. After 38 radiation treatments for stage IV lung cancer his tumor shrunk to half the size and didn’t spread! That’s the good news. Cliff isn’t able to tolerate chemotherapy because of a heart condition. Jane would like to get him the fibrillation surgical treatment, but Cliff refuses at this point feeling that he would not be strong enough to survive surgery. Hey just doesn’t have any appetite and what he does eat seems to be pie and ice cream. It’s awful to see aunt Jane going through the nurse maud role again. On a bright note, their little dog Beau who they adopted about 2 years ago come Christmas looks fantastic. He was such a scrawny ruffian before and looks strong and gorgeous now. I wanted to take a few pics but felt it would be a bad omen if I did.

Cousin Donny firmed up plans for our “annual” Valentine’s Day dinner PARTAY ... and wants Pam there too! C’mon Pam ... you’ve got a date. We had so much fun last year; the fellows cooked steaks and scallops for us while Pam and I were at game day! Dinner was Yum yum 😋

Lew and Lynn popped over at 6:30 with wine in hand for a visit. We sure missed them! Next year they’re planning May 15 to October 15 ... we’ll have to visit next summer for sure!

Well that’s it for tonight. Sayonara
