What the heck! The post office was closed yesterday for Columbus Day, an ill-named holiday honoring an explorer who brought European mayhem to America. But my main wrath today was the 1/2 hour wait with 1 wicket open. Hey postal people, be competitive! you knew it would be a balls to the walls sort of day; schedule enough staff to cover it. Sheesh.

Bonnie sent this sweet picture of Annie, niece to BZ, watching The Good Doctor on TV. πŸΎπŸ’• At their house the grooming and stripping has begun for showtime! Our TV Scottie is Robbie ... he really watches whereas BeeZee is more particular; she needs animal sounds too.

At home we tidied and packed the RV for our River Ranch trip on Thursday. Yahoo! I’d like to go horseback riding but have heard my knees won’t bend “that way.” Yup, I’m dreaming. I’ll be happy to just visit with horses.

At 6:30 we met Randy and Donna Plaza Guadalajara for 99 cent tacos tonight. Our bill, with two drinks each was $22. πŸ˜€ not bad for date night! Yeah yeah, date night was a day early because of Dawn’s work schedule. We had a very good time ... and the tacos were delicious!

Fun times! Randy had our waiter giggling when he said Mark was his dad.

When we came home, King Robbie had taken over my comfy living room seat. πŸΎπŸ’• He’s so sweet.

That’s it ... tomorrow we’ll visit Mark’s cousins plus Jane and Cliff for an hour or two. πŸ‘πŸ»
