Saturday, March 11, 2017

Good morning from sunny, gorgeous, 65°F Central Florida! Of course we began the day with the front door open and the doggies on guard for squirrels. Last night we decided Saturday would be a work day.

Mark has begun to sink the pilings for more seawall shoring and resurfacing; 32' left to go! The weather couldn't be better for outdoor projects, so he's into it.

I had accumulated a great muddle in my craft room! Jewelry half made, two donation bins to deliver, ready wreaths to store and hundreds of yards of deco mesh. Haha. Yes, I've been quite busy. 🤣

The Scotties  enjoyed a little lizard chasing today.

I was very impressed with the amount of work Mark accomplished today. We will have a sitting area to the left of the boathouse when he is finished. I know he wants a macrame swing like Sue and Wayne have in their porch at the cottage. We shall see, or we shall make one!

As you can see, once the retaining wall is reinforced, there is much backfill to be done! Afterword, there will be a lovely deck to cover the mess. 👍🏻

Tonight, Sue and Wayne have gone dancing with Carol and Jack. Mark and I are hanging out with a bottle of wine and dinner on the stove. Perfect.

Full moon ... wind chimes and wine-30.
