Good afternoon. I know that just shook you up right? This morning, we were all turned topsy-turvy as our living room TV is not working. This meant coffee and soda in the sunroom. Well, that got me looking around and motivated to clean the sunroom for Christmas. Now of course it gets cleaned every week, but not a deep down nook and cranny cleaning. That took me more than three hours, but it was time well spent.

While I was doing that, Mark had his first appointment in The Villages and then took Da Mountie for an oil change. This evening, we are going for dinner in Leesburg and then walking over to Townhall to see the Budweiser's Clydesdales!

When Mark got home, he brought the new Comcast box for our Telly. He hooked it up only to discover that our living room TV which is only two years old, is shot. WTF! So, we dug through everything to find our receipt. I remembered that we bought it at Walmart and that it came with a extended warranty. But, we could not find the receipt. Now that's really strange, as we have receipts for everything we've ever bought. After one and a half hours on the phone, being cut off twice, and transferred eight times, we finally found our warranty and have a box being shipped for us to return ship the 47" TV for repair. What ever. We will be without our living room TV for at least 10 days.

OMG it was EPIC! First, Mark and I had dinner at Turner's on Fifth Avenue in Leesburg. The food was very good as it is chef owned. Afterwards, we got into the crowd to watch the Clydesdales! Actually, we got a great place to stand and saw them get hitched to the wagon. I posted my video on Facebook but will add a few pictures on here. They are so majestic, you just can't imagine until you see them in person.

Wow wow WOWSA! 💕

This would have been a fabulous picture except for Mr. Baldy who stepped out in front! 🙄

The Dalmatian was fantastic!

What a huge crowd this brought to downtown Leesburg and on a Thursday night! We really enjoyed it ... along with several thousand other people!

Back home, we discovered that the Sunroom's TV is not working now! WTF. It requires a call to Comcast, but neither of us were in the mood to hassle with them again today. So, that's it for now.

Mark has gone into the bedroom to watch the small TV there. LOL. I didn't know he even knew how to turn that one on. Ha ha.

Well, the dogs are enjoying snuggling on the sofa in the sunroom with me while I write this blog. Life is good. Thank heavens we didn't have to spend another $600 today for a new TV. Well, at least not yet.

Tata till tomorrow.

  1. What's that mean when you say Mark had his first appointment in the Villages. Are you moving to the Villages? I can understand the villages wanting to screen people like you two. How'd he do? Did he pass? Can we buy your old home when you move? It's so cold here right now we are talking about coming for a visit.
